1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Watercolor Bird Shrine on: February 02, 2016 06:33:23 AM
I made this for my partner in the one tiny bird thing swap. I played around with different watercolor techniques and Dylusions spray for the backgrounds and stamped the bird. I also included some fun embellishments from my stash

The back

I am addicted to watercolors now since I had so much fun playing with them.
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Altered Art Heart Valentine on: February 01, 2016 04:58:39 AM
I made this heart for my little sister. I played with watercolors and Dylusions spray ink for the background. The word was cut out of vinyl using my Silhouette. Then I just added some random embellishments
3  Category Challenges / Cooking: Challenge Entries / Four Ingredient Cookies on: January 07, 2016 08:32:04 AM
I have made these cookies for the past few years since they are super easy and very tasty. Four ingredients, a few mintues to mix them up, and a quick 8 minutes in the oven is all you need!

Gather 1 box of Devils Food cake mix
2 Eggs
1 stick of softened butter
1 bag of M&Ms, I used Peppermint

Mix the cake mix, eggs, and butter. The dough will be sticky. Gently fold in the M&Ms. Scoop 1 tsp-1 Tbsp sized balls on to cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8 minutes. I let them sit for a few more minutes on the pan to fully form before transferring to a cooling rack.

I found the receipe on Pinterest and it was originally posted on Bombshell Bling.
4  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / A Hoodie for Me!! on: January 03, 2016 07:00:29 AM
I finally used my machine to make something for myself. I had a heck of a time hooping it because of the zipper so it's not in the exact spot I wanted it but overall I am happy with it.

I am thinking of doing another rose on the other side. The design is from Urban Threads
5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Embroidered Holly on: December 23, 2015 12:41:02 PM
I was inspired by some crochet holly that freakiegeekie posted to try making my own. I cannot crochet so I used my embroidery machine to stitch some. I have since attached a barrette so it can be worn in the hair
6  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Dish Towels for Everyone! on: December 23, 2015 12:32:49 PM
I stitched up lots of dish towels for Christmas gifts and swaps in the past few months. My machine got a workout for sure!

I also made two more that I forgot to get photos of before I wrapped them and shipped them to my out of state family
7  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Christmas Stocking on: December 19, 2015 09:10:33 AM
This is the stocking I made my partner in the stocking swap. It's made from felts, buttons, and ribbon. I'm so happy with how it turned out! exactly like I pictured it!
8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Putz House Ornament on: December 19, 2015 09:08:25 AM
I made this little Christmas scene for quaggy in the stocking swap. I bought the kit on Etsy. I had the clear ornament and an unfinished house.

I painted and glittered the house and painted the jar.
9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Holiday Camping Scene on: December 16, 2015 07:20:06 PM
My partner is quaggy in the stocking swap and I know from past swaps she is quite the camper. So when I came across this tiny retro camper I knew I had to make something for her with it.

I had the tiny Santa in my stash and he was the perfect size to occupy the camper! I used some fake snow paint stuff to help winterize things and of course I had to add a bottle brush tree (that I dyed) and a little deer to complete it.

I'm happy it survived shipping to its new home!

10  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Altered Wooden Ornaments on: December 16, 2015 07:14:46 PM
I have had these wood ornament blanks from Retro Cafe Art Gallery in my stash for a while and decided to finally get them decorated. I painted and glittered them then sent them off to my partner in the mini 12 days of Christmas swap
