I recieved my package from Sarahj2001 while I was away on vacation.  I can't wait to get started on making my own cool resin pieces!!!

Here is what I saw when I opened the box

Inside I found a cute notebook full with all the directions I will need.  Cups, sticks, molds, gloves, glitter, sprinkles, tweezers, and a spoon to make a charm.

There were also lots of sample charms, a bracelet, an awesome light switch cover (which is going in my bedroom) two suckers for my kids and not pictured is a puzzle peice cookie cutter straight off my wist!

I don't have a ton of pictures since I am exhausted from my trip!  I will try to post more photos soon...

Treasure Stones

MATERIALS:
 1 cup flour
1 cup used coffee grounds (set them out overnight to dry)
 1/2 cup salt
 1/4 cup sand
 3/4 cup water
Small prizes, such as plastic toys, dice, and marbles

Time needed: About 2 to 3 Hours
1. Heat the oven to 170 degrees. In a medium-size bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Slowly add the water, stirring until the mixture forms a dough.

2. Roll a piece of the dough into a ball roughly the size of a baseball. Use your finger to bore a hole to the center, push in a couple of small prizes, then seal the hole with more dough. Repeat this process with the rest of the dough.

3. Place the stones on a baking sheet and cook them for 40 minutes, then allow them to cool completely before giving them to the kids to break open (easy to do by hand). Makes 4 treasure-filled stones.

Ours didn't form into a ball, it was more like a blob!

Sidewalk Paint

MATERIALS:
 1/4 cup cornstarch
 1/4 cup cold water
 Food coloring
 Paintbrush

Time needed: 30 Minutes or Less
1. In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and cold water. Stir in as many drops of food coloring as you need to get your desired color. Repeat this process for each paint color. Use a paintbrush to make fun designs on the sidewalk or driveway. To wash the paint off, simply spray the area with water.

This paint goes bad so don't try to store it!

Adia had to remake the shirt.  The first one she did turned into a mini disaster!  The whole shirt was covered in I don't know whats!  She ended up not liking the results and so we started over.
