I claim Phoenixfiredesigns for a wisty surprise or two

First claim this round

Hi, I am Lindy I live in Phoenix , AZ and have two kids who are 9 and 5.  We dont have any allergies.  We do have two hamsters and two cats in our home and I used to be an outdoor smoker but I quit!   I have a pretty extensive wist http://www.wists.com/lindyv321 and lots of fave projects in my profile.

Themes that I love are tattoos, butterflies, dinosaurs, Alice in Wonderland (Disney or original), Stars, cupcakes/sweets, and skulls.  I like just about all colors except orange and yellow but I love pink, black, and sliver.  I also love books, music, marshmallows, bacon, peanut butter, and white cheddar cheese popcorn.

I like to make jewelry, inchies, stencil shirts, embroidery, do felt appliqu, simple sewing, work with resin, and do general craftiness.  I am currently teaching myself to crochet.  I always love to receive supplies and random ephemera.

Things that I would like made for me would be:
BIG WISH A full coverage apron (rooster/chicken or cupcake/sweets fabric a plus)

Glad to here your machine is back in good working order.  That was a super quick repair.

Ran to Hancock's today and found some fabulous fabrics for my partner.  I can not wait till Friday.  I took a days vacation and have plans to spend it sewing.

I started on another project this afternoon and just went to check out my partners wist.  I am making her something similar to something she recently added or something I missed the first few times I stalked it. Glad to know she will be excited to get it.

I am now going back to look at my wist and try to guess at what it could be!
I worked a bit on my large again last night.  I have one small done and a small/medium that is going to be paired with something else all finished.  I have plans for everything and supplies for just about everything. My plan is to make everything I can and then sort through it for each day.

I recieved a crocheted starghan in the mini 12 days swap from 2008.  It is displayed in my living room on the back of my recliner.

I worked a bit on my large item on Saturday then life happened in the form of a flooded bathroom (thanks to my lovely daughter)  and I didn't do anything else.

I received two pairs of crochet slippers from WitchyBelle4u2 last week.  The photo shows one of each pair.  My daughter has tried to steal them but they don't fit her!!!  I can't wait for it to cool down some so I can actually wear them.

Thank you so much Witchy!

My son is 5 and has just really discovered Legos.  He is also really into Lego Star Wars and Lego Batman for the Wii.

I always without fail mess up when I do cross stitch and so I avoid it now.  I also don't have the patience to do one thing for so long.

I am giggling a bit about everyone trying to fight turning on their heater.  I was excited cause last night I was able to turn my AC off for the first time since April/May!  Alas it only lasted one night though since it's supposed to get back into the 90's here by next week.  Oh well I will take the hot over snow any day Smiley

I seriously am wanting to try all of these treats now.  This year I am planning on making a new recipe called chocolate crinkles and some snickerdoodles.  I may also try to make some spritz cookies even though mine never turn out and nothing is ever like grandma's cooking anyway!

I got the ideas for the following Halloween crafts from a Good Housekeeping magazine I purchased last year.  These were both super simple and look so cute!

A mirror with a ghosly image

These are some magnets I made for a personal swap and the case I sent them in

4560  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Fire Pendant on: October 07, 2010 09:41:15 AM
I made this pendant for Phoenixfiredesigns in a personal swap.  This pendant had been on her wishlist from the Ongoing Wish Swap for quite sometime.  I knew I had to apptempt to make one like the one she had wisted.  I quite like the way it turned out!
