Whatcha doing this weekend?

My husband is oncall for one week a month...that starts this morning so for the next week he is just kinda gone. He comes home, he sleeps when he can...but mentally he is constantly watching that phone and on the edge of his seat. So I craft alot on this week each month.

Nothing special but I tend to craft, catch up on TV, and read on the weekends.  Especially weekends my kids are at their dads!!  My honey is on call once a month too so I get that sitting on the edge of the seat waiting to get called in.  I call it his male PMS week cause he is grumpy the whole time!  

Hmmm this is a hard one!  I think the baddest baddie is Malificent only cause in Kindergarten we performed Sleeping Beauty and I was the Queen.  Dang her for cursing my daughter LOL!  Cruella De Ville is pretty bad too, I mean a coat made from puppies??? 

But as for favorites I love Ursula cause she works those curves!Then there is Dr. Facilier from the Princess and the Frog because he was such a unique character. 

Dear future partner.  My weekends are usually packed and I am not online much so don't fear if you don't hear from me until Monday

I got the main part of my larger shrine finished for the most part.  I am pretty happy with how it turned out!  Now I need to do a bit more embellishing and then move on to the next one.   I am glad we have such a long crafting time!

What a great Alaskan package!  I ADORE the black & hot pink box and must have those skull beads!

As soon as I saw those skull beads, I knew you'd be lusting after them, Lindy!  LOL! 

 

I haven't officially started yet and am awaiting for two more things I ordered to arrive but I have a great plan!  I can't wait for Memorial Day weekend.... 3 days with nothing to do but watch the kids swim and get some crafting done.  Having a job really cuts into my crafting time!

I ordered some brass hinges for my project too and they are pretty small but they don't have any pins.....
