411  Cherry Cheesecake Dip in Dessert by lindyv321 on: March 04, 2014 08:18:00 AM
We had a block watch party over the weekend and I wanted to make something quick and easy to share with our group.  After going through a ton of pins on Pinterest I decided to make this Cherry Cheesecake Dip

I changed the recipe up a bit though.  For mine you will need:
1 8oz box of cream cheese, softened
1 tub of whipped cream
1/2 a jar of marshmallow fluff
1 can of cherry pie filling over the top
Graham Crackers

Mix the cream cheese and marshmallow fluff together, fold in the whipped cream.  Spread over bottom of prepared pan.  Spread cherries over the top, eat with the crackers.

This was super easy to make and went over really well with everyone!

My package to my Box of Color partner was delivered today so I shall post photos of what I made for her tomorrow.  Today I will post the new recipes I tried over the weekend for our block watch party.

First up I made Cherry Cheesecake Dip inspired by this pin

And these Bacon Wrapped Chicken bites inspired by this post

I get to add to the loveliness!  I received from Acadian Driftwood over the weekend.  I am so in love with everything in this package!

Everything wrapped in pretty purple with teal ribbons!

The first thing I opened was this bracelet with my favorite colors!  I am wearing it as an anklet right now!

Then these gorgeous paint chip bookmarks.  Did you had draw these?  The one with my name is hanging above my desk with all my other "L" things.

A super wonderful scarf!  The color is just fabulous!  This is the exact shade that I love

Super cute pouch with markers in my fave colors.  I am currently using it to hold thread for a hoopla I am working on.

Last but not least is the cutest purse ever!  The fabric is so wonderful!  I didn't have time to transfer my stuff into it but I will be soon!  It was also filled with a few extra surprises.

Thank you so much for such a great package!  I hope you like your just as much!

416  Wild Olive Stitch Club Stitch-Along in Craftalongs by lindyv321 on: February 28, 2014 11:23:25 AM

Since it seems a few craftsters are going to participate in the Wild Olive Spring Club I thought I would create a board where we could talk about it and share progress.

The stitch club includes embroidery and English paper pieced hexagons to make a lap quilt.  You get a new design to embroider every week.

Here is a link if you want more info or want to sign up

417  You Remind Me of the Babe... What Babe? in Stenciling: Completed Projects by lindyv321 on: February 28, 2014 07:51:18 AM

Freezer paper stenciled shirt I made for a claim in the Ongoing Wish Swap.  As I was cutting the stencil my daughters friend was over and had no idea what Labyrinth was so I had to pull up Youtube to show her Jareth and the goblins singing!

I just adore the fabric you used on that basket!  I also really love the purple ear warmer.  I had a friend make me a few of those to use this year and I LOVE them!

I made this Labyrinth themed shirt for a partner in the Ongoing Wish Swap.  Hand cut the stencil using freezer paper.

and with this I am now halfway to my 50 projects this year!  I haven't really even hit up anything on my list though... just swapping like crazy!

Here is a quickie I made up for a plain boring phone dock I have at work.  I prettied it up with some washi tape!

The shirts turned out great!  Love the book art and I already have a heart pendant like that pinned!

I made this fairy shrine for the One Tiny Surprise Thing Swap.  It seems as though it got lost somewhere between here and it's new home in Germany thought Sad
