21  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / advice in etsy on: September 30, 2008 12:28:57 PM
Hi everyone,

I love www.etsy.com very much. But is it also a good place to sell my wet-felted stuff? Does anyone find my stuff there? What should I keep in mind?

I am doubting between my own website or etsyshop. What to do?

Hope someone can help.

23  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Future felting challenges - have your say on: September 28, 2008 07:01:42 AM
I also think it should become a regular "something". I also participate at http://feltingforum.com and I must say there are more participants. The price is per 3 months.

A tip I would like to give is: make the last entry date by the end of the month. So on the last day. This is easier to remember. The first week of the month can be used to vote and of course start a new challenge.
I saw your notification that a new challenge was about to come, that's why I've seen it. Maybe you can work out some schedule in which we can see what the subject for the month is going to be? In August I had plenty of time to work something "flowery "out, But I didn't knew the subject then, maybee If one knows earlier there are more entries?

I hope these challenges  will keep coming! Good for trying something new with felt.

keep up your good work!

I have made a  nunofelted scarf with roses as design. I just think next time I should make more `rose/leaves lines`

Hello Taragon,
Thanks. Vlaanderen is not so far away from my place; I live close to Maastricht (very south of the Netherlands)

I have more pictures at http://viltk.hyves.nl/  if you are interested.... I am doubting if or not to open an etsy shop. There's more in dutch to read...... Wink Wink

28  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Re: Aarrgghh! My boy doesn't like this wetfelted dragon! on: August 22, 2008 11:45:01 AM
I like it !!
Children have to get used with things. I know my daughters do not like everything I make, but after  a while the get use to it and play with it anyway. What also helps is when another child says  '"oh, I Like that".
Keep confidence! Your boy will get the taste of it!
