Very cute---I love the last shirt.  That fabric is adorable!
Also, is that an Elvis cookbook that I see?  Food?  The King? At the same time?Huh
*ecstatic twitching*

yes, indeed! there's also the famous peanut-banana sandwich in there

made some stuff for me and a friend of mine...

1. plaid flannel shirt

'lydia' attern by burdastyle.com (slight modifications), fabric by buttinette, buttons by knopf-truhe.de, (sewing thread by ikea)

2. polka dot tunic/blouse

burda pattern, fabric from stoffmarkt holland, vintage fabric-covered buttons from second hand shop in neuruppin

the first time i sewed a placket... pretty difficult, this one.

3. floral corduroy shirt (it was a birthday present, that's why she's holding other presents in the pic)

same pattern as 1., also buttinette fabric and knopf-truhe buttons

lace vest

pattern: vest pattern from "verena" (fall/winter 2006) + made-up lace stitch;
yarn: ggh "java"; a bit more than 5 balls

striped bottom-up raglan

pattern: drops (modified)

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / green cable cardigan on: January 02, 2008 01:02:21 PM
my own design, inspired by the central park hoodie (position of the cables, mostly); took about 2 months to make

yarn: juvel (pure wool) - some norwegian brand that i got in sweden - about 12 skeins
wood buttons: from www.knopf-truhe.de

i know i don't look happy but i am actually!  Cheesy

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / christmas sweaters on: December 28, 2007 08:44:29 AM
i finally got around to take photos of the sweaters i made as christmas presents

1. cable hoodie for my dad - basic pattern from the lionbrand website, cable pattern (the zigzag one) from "harmony guide: 220 aran stitches and patterns"; yarn: schoppelwolle 'landhaus aktion', about 18 balls

closeup of the cables on the back

2. modified hourglass sweater for my mum - i made it more a-shaped, narrowed + shortened the sleeves, and narrowed the neckline; yarn: schachenmayer nomotta 'punto', about 11 balls

3. alpaka sweater for my friend franzi - i used a heavily modified pattern from garnstudio/drops, and another pattern for an "iceland sweater" as well; yarn: drops 'alpaka', 13 skeins

she looks better normally but she's got a cold...

9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: calendar for my brother + his family on: December 16, 2007 10:56:56 AM
thanks for your comments!

nomij: you can buy those kind of blank calendars in virtually every bookshop here in germany

childhoodlover: well, yes, they're all more or less collages except for the squirrell, where i scanned a newspaper pic (which also posted on craftster some time ago), enlarged + printed it, drew it with tracing paper (?), changed it a bit and colored it with crayons.
