This year my husband and I went to a couple of parties and we really don't like to repeat costumes. 

So for the first party we went as Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac


And for the second one we went as Juno McGuff & Paulie Bleeker

This year my dear husband and I had a bit of a disagreement on what to be for Halloween, but since we went to two parties it worked out just fine.

I was really pleased with how the bruises came out, here's a close up of my black eye


Then on Halloween night we dressed up as Juno McGuff & Paulie Bleeker


My husband came up with a clever way to make a pretty realistic belly here's a close up of the belly


He cut a basketball in half, then turned it inside out and pushed the air valve out so it stuck out like a belly button.  Then we stuffed it really full with polyfil and I mad a kind of belly band out of nude swimsuit fabric.  It was awesome.  The belly button thing really freaked people out.  I'm already thinking of things to do for next year. 

We just got back from our honeymoon and our photographer has posted a lot of the pictures from the wedding on his flickr. Here are some of my favorites and also some of the things I crafted for the wedding.  I didn't get a good picture of my favor boxes and I'm kind of sad about that, but oh well.

my centerpieces were just Mason Jars filled with baby's breath.  baby's breath is one of my favorite flowers and it was sooooo cheap.

WooHoo.  Bein' Married RULZ!!!!

So I never could find any garter that I liked.  I didn't want any of the cheesy satin ones they sell at the bridal shops.  So I found this awesome vintage fabric for a steal ($1/yard) and with the help of my very talented mother made my own.  Tell me what you think.

I'm going to use this one as my tossing garter and we are going to make another one to be the one I keep because we forgot to do a french hem to finish this one

my first attempt at the martha tissue paper pom.  i'm pretty happy with it overall, but i'm not too crazy about the print.  i think i'll stick with solids for the rest.

they are handmade, the invitations will be done in the next few days i think off all the things for the wedding i'm most excited about the invitations
i know i've seen these little magnets in several posts here and i always thought they were really cute and they're super easy to make (which is good because i've got to make 400)
