1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Design and knit your own sweater - 4 pictures on: December 17, 2008 09:50:00 PM
I sat staring at my computer screen trying to figure out how you would wear the tube.
Then I figured out what you were saying. And that the tube wasn't actually a sweater.

lolz
I'm kinda dim sometimes.

That sounds fascinating though.
What a cool idea!!
I wonder if they have something similar for crotchet.
because i don't really knit. Like barely at all. I'm terrible at it.

That's soooo cute!
Simple and functional.
I have four cats myself so I can sympathize with the hair issue.
I want your cat to add to my collection!!
He/She/It is adorable!!!!!
5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: Bottle of love (365 love quotes) on: June 03, 2008 03:05:11 PM
I too would like to say that this is adorably sweet and cute
And if it's not too much trouble, those quotes would be a good thing to have.
Please?
thanks.
I love this idea

7  UNITED STATES / Virginia / Glass blowing on: April 28, 2008 04:11:38 PM
I'm really interested in glassblowing and was wondering if anyone knew of any studios in the Fredericksburg area or within a 30 minute radius?  Also I know there's a lot of glass fusion and bead making in F'burg I just can't find it. anyone know?
thanks alot
8  UNITED STATES / Virginia / Re: Moving to Fredericksburg--maybe on: April 28, 2008 04:07:52 PM
I never ever ever go 95 and I rarely drive into dc.  It's easier to park somewhere and take the metro in.  I catch the train at quantico and switch to metro in springfiield.  Usually though I make the two hours of the most beautiful ride ever down to staunton.  It's gorgeous and it has the best haggle shop ever.  It's a huge three story thrift store where you can get amazing stuff dirt cheap.  I also think Staunton has the closest glass-blowing studio to F'burg besides Lorton MA and possibly some stuff in Richmond.  I don't know much about the partying scene because that's really not my stuff but Central Park does have an AC Moore which has pretty much any craft supplies you need for (imo) cheaper than Micheals.  And no Fredericksburg the downtown is a smallish little town but the surrounding areas are really built up.  Stafford County borders it and it is huge and still growing.
9  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: What type are you? on: April 28, 2008 03:15:36 PM
all that amazing stuff is just sitting in your front yard!?!?!?!?!

that is too cool.
however, i would not leave such a seriously awesome typewriter like that out in the yard.  I'd take it inside and destroy it to make stuff.
That's a really great picture

Also maybe you should preform an exocism on it and see if the typing noises stop.
