1  Retro doll in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by sewhappysue on: September 22, 2012 08:35:32 PM
I have had this old doll head sitting on my sewing table forever. With a hair cut and painted freckles this is what I made with it.

3  A Sneetch to snitch in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by sewhappysue on: May 17, 2012 11:25:33 PM

This is from a Ravelry pattern by Allison Hoffman. Special request from my grandson's 2nd grade teacher who was at her wits end with tattling seven year olds. So she created a snitch box and is decorating it with this ami. Now she doesn't have to listen to all the flutter, just read what has been placed in the box if she is so inclined. LOL

Pattern is well written and very easy to follow.

5  NyteFrye's poppet pattern in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by sewhappysue on: January 12, 2012 07:14:23 PM
My partner in the Jim Henson swap has received so I can share. I used NyteFryres crochet poppet pattern
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=390749.0

He is 22 inches tail. I didn't measure Kermit. Kermit was made using crystal crochet thread and a 7 steel hook. His buddy was made with F hook and good old Red Heart super saver
Comments, suggestions and criticism always welcome.

And a close up to show his teeth. I web searched and used caricature
drawings of Jim Henson as models. Most of them showed him with a grin showing only the upper teeth.

The teeth are from a doll parts supplier and called "Shirley" teeth. I'm glad I bought a few of them...I see all kinds of uses for them.

10  Baby show centerpiece in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by sewhappysue on: July 21, 2011 08:22:09 PM
I made this for my granddaughters baby shower which turned into a birthday party as baby Anthony decided to arrive 3.5 weeks early at 4 lbs 15 oz.
The pattern is from Etsy, but I made some changes to the baby face. Been making so many poppets that everything has to have eyelids
I just could not figure out a way to make him stand on his own
cc welcome
