1  Re: Dollar Store Swap Round 4 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by bluechip on: April 28, 2007 01:29:00 PM
I received today from girlbotgoods!

Everything but my cup that she decorated for me.  I put it up because of the cat playing with jewels on the handle and forgot to put it in the shot.  That's my craft table and it's messy right now

My very cool blue tote bag!  I will use it alot.

A crocheted (?) tissue holder! Thanks for that I don't know how to knit or crochet.

Cute bunny magnets, the bunnies are talking to each other.

I messed up the closeup of the jewel made from the little glass rocks, it is awesome and I will have to fix it and post it and the cup later.  The fabric has a ball of yarn with knitting needles, plus there were 2 cute kits to needlepoint and a wonderful wind ornament I can hardly wait to hang up!

Thanks girlbotgoods for everything!  It was worth waiting for.

I only took one picture, I thought I'd post it and Moonlightbliss can post some too, cause I didn't include everything in the one shot.

I received from Kantha_stich!  She's here safe and sound!

Meet Miss Penelope Daisy Aster! and her constant companion, her bunny Edward.  She's had an interesting life and she is beautifully handmade!

Miss Kantha also sent some divine chocolates, I've had one already, thank you very much!  These will go to the special stash  Smiley  I love her already and I will have to keep Edward away from the cat!  And Miss Penelope away from the ummmm....liquor closet  Grin

Her bio is wonderful!  We will watch Star Trek the Next Generation, since she's loves the reruns, everyday together and I am going to introduce her to Men in Trees on Thursdays! Lots of romance on that show  Shocked

I got yours mailed today and I will pm you the DC number.

5  Re: The Pringles Can Fill-Er-Up Challenge 3 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by bluechip on: February 17, 2007 08:15:22 AM

This is the needle case that I painted for Skitterflex, I paint purses as a side business.  Once the case is rolled and used for a little while the canvas takes on the feel of leather.

This is the inside fabric

These are the stitch markers I made from shrinky dink sheets, I hadn't used this in a long time!

I also sent some sweettarts and some Chococat post-its.  Wow those cans fill up fast!

This my scarf that Skitterflex knitted for me Smiley

This is the shot with everything!

This is my choker with my knitted sushi, my cat thinks it's a ball.  I've taken it away a couple of times.

The picture of the pouch did not turn out very good so I will have to retake and post.

Everything:
A long red and white knitted scarf
A knitted, beaded choker in pink
Sushi!
Tea, which I do love, the peppermint scented everything!
A beautiful burgandy satin pouch with a very cute lining!

Thanks Skitterflex, yours will be in the mail on Friday.

Here are a couple of tissue holders I have made.  These are so easy to do.

I received my very cool cookbook from Ohmyluckystars03 today!  It is wonderful.  She sent me her first Block print and a magnifying glass, which my husband ran off with before I could get a picture!  I told her I had "old eyes" and don't do small print! Smiley This was my first swap and I loved doing this.

My cookbook is spiral bound which I would like to know how to do.  I know nothing about scrapbooking or binding.

Thanks Ohmyluckystars03 for making my first swap wonderful!  And as soon as I figure out how to post pictures, I will.  Hmmmm.
