5  Re: help with ugly shoes...and ugly shirt in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by demekah on: April 08, 2008 01:53:37 AM
That shoes are great to weave something in. (in don't know if that's good English) You already have a grid. If you use ribbon to make the shoe closed and a bowl on the top and the back of the shoe. (I hope my image is clear enough to explaine)

6  Shoes! in CHALLENGE 26 ENTRIES by demekah on: April 03, 2008 03:42:16 PM
I'm here now for a week and I love this website! Here is my entry: Shoes!

This is what I used: two packs of foam, three mopping rags (I only used two), a poker game, acrylic paint, Velcro and soft soles.

This is my coupon:

First I made soles out of the foam. I used the soft soles as a mold. I made two soles with 6 layers of foam and two soles with 2 layers of foam.

After that I made the tops of the shoes out of mopping rags.

I also made two strokes of mopping rag with a piece of Velcro on the end and two buttons out of the mopping rags, the pokerfiches and the acrylic paint.

I glued stripes on the bottom of the tinnest soles of foam.

After that I begin to construct. I hot glued the top of the shoe on the tickest soles. First the front and the back. After that I cut the mopping rag in to shape and glued the rest of the shoe.

Now I put the soles on the bottom of the shoes, a piece of Velcro on the shoe, the buttons on the strokes of mopping rags and the strokes on the shoe. After that I put the soft soles in the shoes and they are ready!

Thank you for looking and don't forget to vote!

7  Re: Adult-y t-shirt recon in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by demekah on: March 28, 2008 01:17:20 AM
If you want to make it a basic shirt with a slimmer fit I can suggest the following: Turn your shirt inside out put it on and pin like on my image. The sew the lines cut of and use a zigzag for the edges. After that you can cut of a part of the sleeves (red line in image). Make a zigzag around the sleeves, turn a little bit inside and use a regular stitch to make a seam. Good luck!

I saw you have a lot of white wall left at the side of your desk. Maybe you should make yellow circles in the same color of the wall come out of the wall like this:
