That is a beautiful organizer.  I keep meaning to make an organizer or four, but.....oh well.

Here is my contribution for the month.

He made from a velour remnant and some flannel with owls on it that I just think is too cute.  I made him for a swap and will probably be making more for baby gifts, I'm thinking of making them rattle!
Now to just do what I think of.  Hope y'all like him!

I too, received yesterday, but didn't post pics because I hid the camera from my son and forgot where!

Finally found it and here is the goodness from imafundork.  I love it all.  Oh and please ignore the nasty carpet, we are about to rip it up and put in tile.

She even sent me frog and goldfish fabrics!  Rock on! The hippos are so cute!

I'm making a garden quilt next year for my mil that a number of these florals will go into.  The monkey flannel will fit in my nieces quilt.

My dear injured son picked his favorites too.

Some of these will embellish the muscles shirts that he will have to wear until the cast comes off.
Aaaargh! Piratey loot!  That works with a sling right?

Thanks again imafundork, and I hope yours gets there soon!

193  A Crabby Flash in Completed Projects by goldfishpollywog on: September 03, 2008 10:44:41 PM
This is my little electronic friend, he was a test run for a USB Flash I made for the Disposable camera swap.

In the USB-along thread, I saw a turtle my partner had wisted and knew that I could make one.  I just wasn't sure how injured I would become in the process.  Happily, this craft was incident-free!

Another  view, showing the flash

Belly shot, just b'cause

AND here is the turtle one that I made, who has since gone on to live happily closer to the coast.

Thank you marmota!  I've always been partial to it.  Oh and I finished its the baby turtle block that goes with it.  This turtle was much more difficult as I tend to try to sew through my fingers when appliquing something small.

My package came today!  Great timing since I was a little stressed and hadn't slept much, so I answered the door in Pj's Grin  Sometimes I love being a SAHM!

So here it is, and I am still geeking out about it!

She made me a mosaic goldfish frame, in case you can't tell, I like fish and frogs!
We decided to swap flash drives of photos and she made mine into a Royal Goldfish, complete with necklace so I don't lose in in my pit, I mean purse.

Since I probably won't get to upload pictures until later tonight, here are a couple at random to tide you over... Cool

This is called Uncommon Friends, and it is Edison, Ford and Firestone.  I love the way that they are just lounging about, well that and the spitting frogs.

And here is a beautiful seastar, I love the colors in this one!

Awesome swap, Thank you so much imafundork for being a great partner!
and thanks PlumCrafty for organizing! Kiss

I decided to go ahead and post some of my blue crafts now and more if I can finish them on time.

First, some tie-on shoes in denim for a swap.

The pattern is on this site----> http://tissupapers.blogspot.com/2008/06/elle-tie-on-slippers.html but you have to do an enlarged print to the right size.

Next is one of two quilt squares I am making for a 3 generation family quilt.  The pattern is based on a quilt my Great-Grandma made for my brother.  No one had the pattern she used and my brother wouldn't let me borrow his quilt,  Tongue so I took pictures of the square and tried to research it.  Finally I figured it out.  Cool

It is pieced with a little applique thrown in and I love it in this large size.  Let me know what you think...

Oh and sorry for the lengthy post... Undecided

I've always loved those little stars Moonrise!  Too cute for words Cheesy

Cables are sorted, I was apparently trying to use the wrong one Undecided
Here is my yellow project.  Not much, just a tote made from a shirt I liked that wouldn't fit anybody in the family.  It is a little different shaped because of my cutting off the arms, but that just keeps things from falling out when it gets set down.

199  Re: The Long Awaited Poppet-Along in Craftalongs by goldfishpollywog on: August 03, 2008 12:33:57 PM
Here is my poppet that I was so unsure of at first. My first one with alova.   Grin

I picked out the fabric while medicated Roll Eyes, started sewing and was very unsure until I happened upon the right yarn for her hair and then it all fell into place.  Wink She was hard to give away, but I am sure my swap partner will love her.

She will get her own post once this change-over is complete!  What do y'all think?

200  Re: Jar of Mini Whimsies Round 2 Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by goldfishpollywog on: August 03, 2008 12:24:33 PM
My partner polaritygirl isn't able to post pictures right now, so she asked me to post for her.  Forgive my long post, but I am a shutterbug and have at least 5 jar photos I left out because you can see everything

Since she asked for hers to fit in a drawer, I had to think outside the jar.  She asked for elephants, fairy and yoga type things.

The Babar Yoga and pencil case were extras to help protect my box.

More pics of the loot

a tiny tea set and a small doily for it to sit on. (boxed in other pictures)

I made this and added elephant and tea charms, to make it different

Close up of the smallest whimsies

And to spoil her (& fill the envelope) I added Mint Crispy M&M's and this pretty relaxation pillow and poppet

My faves that were in the jar are the glass elephant and the Little Miss. Grin

I hope you like it all polarity girl!
