2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / A mouse and a bear...free pattern links available! on: April 27, 2009 11:53:24 AM
Hello everyone!

I haven't posted on craftster in quite a while.  I wanted to come around and share some patterns that I wrote on my blog in the past couple months.  The first one is for Henri, a small knitted bear:

The pattern is available here:
http://yarnigans.vox.com/library/post/henri-the-knitted-bear.html

The second project is a mouse that is the same basic pattern, with a few variations.  Here she is:

The pattern for her can be found here:
http://yarnigans.vox.com/library/post/marisol-mouse.html

These are also up on ravelry.  Enjoy!

I'm making a Zee, actually! But my son's birthday is tomorrow and I didn't think i'd have time to finish her.  She's all cut out and just needs to be assembled.  I'd post the files that I used as my pattern but... I think it would be some copyright violation?  If anyone wants them, maybe I could email them.

My son is totally in love with Moose A. Moose, the host of the Noggin network on tv.  So, for his first birthday, I made him a stuffed version of Moose.  I went to Noggin's website, and found a coloring book type picture of Moose they had available as a pdf.  I used shift-prt sc to copy the image to my clipboard, pasted as a new image in paint shop, blew it up to 225% size, cut it into quarters and print each one out on a full sheet of paper.  I taped them together and used them as my pattern.  Here's the finished product:

The body of the moose is made out of anti-pill polar fleece.  The eyes are also made out of layers of polar fleece.  The face is handsewn on and the mouth was embroidered out of thick black thread.  The antlers are brown corduroy.  Thanks for checking it out!

I really love that! You did an amazing job and I love the idea of a whole forest of herb bonsai!

I really love that second one but they're both great!

Thanks so much! Every time I fused plastic I put the colored bags in between layers of white bags so they were really muted.
