1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Sheet --> Really Cute Shirt *tutorial* on: March 27, 2005 08:18:57 AM
So I have been a thrift store junkie lately. Been searching for really cool sheets and pillowcases to make clothing out of, particualry fabrics that look like they are from the 50's. Anyways, this is the 2nd creation from some of the fabrics I found.
It was very simple as long as you know how to do darts and put in a zipper.

Tutorial below... I swear it's a lot easier than the tutorial makes it out to be.

I also made this purse today that matches the shirt.

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Purple Necklace on: January 17, 2005 11:45:34 AM
I made this last night when I found this really cool gem/rock. I am going to keep adding strands of the purple beads... But I have to get more wire before I can do that.

Anyways, what are your opinions? Do you think people would buy something like this if priced right?

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Opinions on a bag needed! on: January 05, 2005 11:46:39 AM
So I made this bag/purse for a friend. I love how it turned out but I am not sure how to do the straps. I think I want to do it this way (tie it), what do you guys think?

All comments are welcome! Thank you!
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / X-Mas Gifts... on: December 21, 2004 09:29:06 PM
I made these to include in some Christmas packages I am giving to a few friends. What do you guys think?
I absolutely love the green/brown one! I wanna keep it, however that wouldn't be the right thing to do. Sad
I just thought I would share them since I have been on here browsing for the last few months.
Enjoy!

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / New Purse on: October 21, 2004 05:45:06 PM
So I am a huge fan of the Dave Matthews Band (huge fan). I thought about this a while ago and finally did it. I LOVE IT! I basically just took the idea of the Jordy and cut out some fabric and went... Critiques/opinions are welcome because I am going to make two more of them for some friends for Christmas presents...

So after looking at everyone elses "Jordy's", bags, and purses, I decided to make my own... This is the first of a few (after I fix my sewing machine)... I absolutely love the fabric I found! Hope you guys enjoy it!
