31  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Secret compartment book question on: April 09, 2008 02:44:57 PM
So I've seen some secret compartment books that people have made, and I was wondering what kind of glue you would use to, well, glue all of the pages together after you had cut out your compartment. Are there any tutorials about this? Thanks very much for any help!
32  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Panda Bear Stuffie on: April 09, 2008 07:36:12 AM
So this is my first post of something I've made.... my sewing is not the best- I've taught myself just in the past few months, so I'm still learning a lot. But last night I became weirdly obsessed with making this little panda bear. I think he turned out pretty well. Or she. I haven't named it yet.

There isn't a good size comparison, but it's about the size of a smaller paperback. Just the right size to snuggle, I think  Smiley

I thought while I was posting, I'd go ahead and add a couple other things I'd already made- a nice mushroom and a slightly wonky coloured rabbit who answers to Alexander.

Comments and opinions appreciated!
33  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Making Magnets on: March 26, 2008 04:01:36 PM
First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong topic; I apologize. I wasn't sure if this belonged in miscellaneous or the paper crafts forum.

I'm wanting to make magnets out of old postcards, trading cards, magazine cutouts, etc. I've made some before using painted foam core and mod podging the pictures on the front, and putting magnets on the back. I like this way, but cutting the foam board takes ALOT of time. Does anyone have any suggestions for different backing, or styles? Ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
