Here is my package from sailorgirlbonk!!

First, some beautiful notecards & envelopes, 3 framed sketches (she is such a great artist!) and a miniature container that's done shadowbox style with a lovely little picture peeking out!

And a gorgeous container with a collage of beautiful pictures all the way around

Look inside! These roses are lovely!

And my favorite thing- an elf hood! I love it- it fits perfectly and I've already tried to wear it a couple times, but DH says no matter how cute it is, 90 degree weather is not the time to be wearing it. *pout* I couldn't get an action shot of it, but it is awesome!

Thanks so much, I love it all!

I received from schnerby a few days ago, and for some reason I thought I'd posted a picture, but I haven't, so here it is!!
The cutest little pink bird! I love the embroidery on her!

That's my last bird, I love them all so much! Thanks, everyone!

I also haven't received my last set from Group 2.

Here are the lovely inchies from chibilightangel that I have been really late in posting. Things have been crazy around here.... I love them, especially the radish one! The stamps on the envelope were beautiful, also!!

Thanks so much, everyone. I can't wait to get these all framed together. They look awesome!

Here are my inchies for the week so far! First, from beckashell. They are all great, but I think my two faves are "dirty joke" (so appropriate for me.... my life is one big "that's what she said"...) and the stitched one. It's so tiny and cute!

And from natluna. The background on these is awesome! I love the colors and texture! I think "Stories from the Other" and the Mii one are my favorites. The Mii I use has little brown pigtails that look ridiculous.

Here are my latest two birds!!

The one on the left is from CatrinaU- This is such a pretty little fabric bird! It's in the same colors I'm about to paint a new dresser for my upcoming craft room, which is awesome!
To the right is from Ma Rut- a beautiful wooden bird, with newspaper, paints and ink. I love it!

Thanks so much you guys! I only have one bird left  Sad I can't wait for it to arrive!

Here is the bird I received from lukenlarry! Sorry it took a couple days to get a picture, but it was a crazy weekend (busy crazy, not fun crazy...)

Here is my cute little birdie! I've dubbed her Mona Lisa. I love her little wings, the fabric is so pretty! Thanks!

Here are the newest sets I have received!

First off is Rainbow Storms!
Unfortunately "the truth" was loose in the envelope so I wasn't sure which one it went too, I think the Clearly Unusual one is my favorite of this set. Smiley

I think it came off the middle right one- the dark headed girl. But I suppose you could put it on whichever one suited you.  Smiley

I received from Malaki100 and Korok this week!

From Makaki100- so hard to pick a favorite, but I do love those last two- alice and the flowers. Very pretty!!

From korok- I love the little cars, and that last fabric one. It reminds me of a cactus in a pot!

Here are pictures of the uber cute Looey from Avesthel!

Isn't he sweet?

Little heart butt from my wists. It kind of reminds me of the care bears.

He is one chubby little cutie! Thanks!

Here are the inchies I have received so far!

From katara- I love the one with the ink sketch, and the lace on the red one!

From malmow- The sandcastle one is probably my favorite-it even feels like sand! (I love sebastian, too!)

From Danniquee- It's hard for me to pick a favorite- probably either the Alice or "teamwork" one! Also, a neat playing card! Very cool!

They are all so great, I can't wait to get more!

20  First time baking bread! in Recipes and Cooking Tips by Rainbow_Storms on: April 13, 2009 10:46:25 AM
So this weekend I decided to try something I'd never done before- bake some bread! I looked around for an easy recipe, since this was my first try, and I didn't have a bread machine, or even a dutch oven at my disposal. I found a delicious looking honey wheat recipe here- http://www.joyfulabode.com/blog/2008/12/30/look-at-me-all-baking-homemade-bread-from-scratch/, and thought- I think I can do that one!
So I went shopping for my ingredients, and got to it! The DH was not very encouraging, but I kneaded, and let my dough rise, kneaded again, let it rise again, and popped it in the oven. Thirty-five minutes later, I pulled these bad boys out!

They're not the prettiest loaves, but they are so tasty! They aren't super-honey tasting, but I don't think I put nearly enough honey in. I was afraid it would be too sweet, and then no one else would eat any. A little lesson for next time.
After they cooled down, we sliced them up, and the DH has been gobbling it right up. I feel like the Little Red Hen, haha.

Thanks for looking!
