i believe in you and i don't even know you.

i know it probably doesn't mean much
coming from a stranger.
but i am.
good luck with everything and never never stop living your life for
YOU.

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / 3 new hats (img heavy) on: April 17, 2008 07:32:21 PM
I've been making hats galore for loved ones and one for myself.
The first is inspired by the Meatwad hats here on craftster... I made one for my bf who is a huge Aqua Teen Hunger Force fan.  He, being extremely spoiled, saw the orignial (bill-less) and immediately requested a bill.  So here's the finished product:

Then I made a hat for my sister's bday coming up.  It's cotton with really soft silk/cotton blend accents.  I used the rib stitch but then I sewed the hat backwards... so what you're seeing is the wrong side of a back-loop rib stitch.

And, last but not least, I made myself a seismic hat from Julie Armstrong Holenz's free online pattern

It's got this sweet stitch that makes really great ribbing.  Here's a top view.

Hope you enjoyed!  Comments?  Critiques?  Irrelevant anectdotes?  Inspirational quotes?  Small animals?  Leave them all here.   Cheesy

excellent!
Now a bartowl with "Slainte!" ("to your health" or, "cheers!")
"Céad míle fáilte" translates to "One Hundred Thousand Welcomes".  I work at an Irish specialty shop and that phrase is everywhere... beautiful.
great job!
