1  jewelry organizer in Completed Projects by morganannie on: March 23, 2008 06:04:40 AM
This is something I've seen lots of people doing lately. I went to the store thinking I would get an open backed frame and just use poster board or cardboard to "pin" into. But I found this cool ready-made bulletin board. I took it apart and covered the board with the polka dot pattern and then started pinning in my jewelry. I couldn't find any super cute pins so I just used the old standby dritz pearlized kind. I really like this one because it has those 3 little compartments at the bottom. I can put my watch and other big stuff in there as well as spare pins and post-backed earrings. I think it turned out really well. I can also hang belts from the hooks at the bottom!

My only concern now is the size...What to do when my jewelry collection no longer fits on it?!?

3  spray painted glass candle holders in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by morganannie on: March 23, 2008 05:47:43 AM
I saw these candle holders (or something like them) on the DIY network christmas special...it was called something like "100 christmas crafts" - sorry i don't remember the full, real title -

my husband did the swirly one and I did the checkered pattern. It was really easy - just tape off your design with masking tape and then spray paint the glass.

4  Honey Bunny in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by morganannie on: March 23, 2008 05:45:02 AM

This is my second amigurumi. I was very inspired by a blog called willynillywaterlily and her adorable bunnies so I tried my hand at it. I think she is perfect for Easter.
