I don't think I understand where the band goes. I couldn't really see it in the pics in the tutorial. Could you draw a picture maybe?

Here are some baby things I made in the last few days. Smiley

Onesies, changing mat, and hat made out of a t-shirt.

The plaid was just extra fabric I had laying around. If I had something more seasonal I would have used that.

I didn't use a pattern, I made it up myself. I'll make a tute! It's so easy.

My favorite are the last two.
9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Re: Where can I find directions for rag quilt? on: June 22, 2006 01:23:49 PM
Do you know how to make a regular quilt? I think a rag quilt is just that, except you show it "wrong-side"-up, and it has to be polarfleece or cotton jersey or something that doesn't fray.

This link might help: http://www.sewing.org/enthusiast/html/e_blossom_rag_quilt.html

hey, one could also use velcro. These necklaces are really cute, and I think I might make some for a pregnant friend.  My only concern is that if baby can pull necklace off of your neck so easily, it will go straight into the mouth.
