231  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Washi Tape Vase on: March 13, 2014 09:26:57 AM
I was so inspired by teaandcraft's tiny bud vases that I decided the next time I had a small bottle to fix up, I would make my own.

I made this vase this morning after the last make remover pad was used. I washed it and then covered it with washi tape. The vase now lives on my desk at work and it makes me happy to see a little bouquet of flowers. the lid is the "water catcher".

233  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / COFFEE!!!!! on: February 27, 2014 07:59:05 AM
I stitched this up for Alwaysinmyroom in the Ongoing Wish Swap. I used six strands on this piece-the lines were so thick on the pattern.

234  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Washi Shadow Box on: February 24, 2014 09:52:16 AM
I am in love with washi tape. For the sunshine swap, I decided to make this up for my partner.

I think I might make some for me with a beach theme.
235  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Ducky Tea Towels on: February 24, 2014 08:46:04 AM
I stitched these up for the Sunshine Swap. Nothing says happy sunshine like ducks that can craft!

236  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Happy Sasquatch on: February 24, 2014 08:44:17 AM
We all know that Sasquatch is just misunderstood. Poor guy. He is all about the love and smiles. I stitched this up for Mistress T for her birthday.

I stitched this up for Eiseldora in the Affirmation swap. It is something functional and positive.  Cheesy

238  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / When Someone Rains on Your Parade on: February 21, 2014 08:40:03 AM
I stitched this up for Beeker in the Affirmation swap. It was too funny because we picked the same quote to send eachother.

239  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Valentine Brooch on: February 13, 2014 09:33:25 AM
I made this for a friend. At first I was going to stitch a brooch but realized I didn't give myself enough time so I took an old locket and some charms and whipped this up.

I hope my friend takes a better picture and maybe an action shot.  Smiley
240  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Valentine Puppy Basket on: February 13, 2014 09:31:32 AM
Everyone needs a Valentine's puppy in a basket. The original pattern had butterflies around the puppy but I think hearts are much better. I used washi tape around the hoop for a little more flair.
