2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Spider-Man on: November 07, 2012 08:15:24 PM
My 3 year old daughter loves Spider-Man and how could I say no.  I think it's a Simplicity pattern, a generic super heros, five to pick from. It was for a size 7 and I had to make some parts of it smaller. It's my first time sewing something this complicated. It took two months too long to make. But I'm glad I made it for her, she wore it all Halloween day.

3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: The "Cake Lady" painting on: February 06, 2012 08:00:19 PM
It's a awesome painting and the story of it's growth is truely wonderful. The style of the painting reminds me of illustrations in children's books.  It's really beautiful.

5  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Angler Fish on: November 12, 2011 08:28:36 AM
I used LED lights hooked up to a battery pack taped to the back near the tail on the inside. I also put in a switch that's under the fin on the outside so it could be turned on and off more easily. My son now uses it as a night light.
6  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Angler Fish on: November 08, 2011 08:17:01 PM
With only one week before Halloween my son made up his mind of what he wanted to be, an angler fish.
It's made of paper mache and fits like a helmet. The eyes and angler thingy light up.

Thanks for looking.
