You could always just keep reusing those same black beans every time, just store them in an airtight container after each use and they'll be fine indefinitely. No idea if river rocks would be safe!

Using the baked black beans in cooking won't pose any danger either, it just might require extra soaking/change in taste/texture. Personally I'd just set them aside as permanent baking beans Smiley

I received yesterday! And let me tell you, my new bag is wonderful  Grin Onto the (blurryish) pics!

This is the bag. Don't you just love that fabric? It's a lot brighter in real life too, the next photo is a bit more accurate colour-wise. Funnily enough, both me and my partner chose very similar colour-schemes.

I thought the inside deserved a picture too  Wink

This is a handy pouch to keep things in. You may notice the bar of chocolate lurking in there  Cheesy

Here is a keyring (going straight on my keys in Germany), a bookmark, some rather awesome tissues (I get through a lot!) and the cutest plasters ever  Cheesy

Last but certainly not least, a ball of gorgeous wool  Cheesy I think I might try felting with it since it's supposed to felt well Cheesy I've always wanted to try.

I loved everything and pretty hate machine was a wonderful partner. I very much enjoyed my first swap and looking at all the photos in this gallery!  Grin
(Oops just realised I forgot to take an action shot to show you all the size. I'll try to do that and edit it in once I'm out of my pjs)

I fixed my sewing machine! I can finally sew my bag together  Grin Once I get some fabric to line it anyway, I've changed my mind about the original lining  Undecided It was the perfect colour, but too thin...

I'm getting quite nervous waiting! Hopefully I'll have Disneyland as a distraction in a few days though Cheesy

I've been trying to fill my wists with bag related things, but I've mostly been getting distracted by pretty things like glass flower spindles Embarrassed. I've been researching bag patterns too though, that's productive, right? Just a few days to go!

ooo Disney is a great distraction (I was just there today!! heehee). Mickey and his pals will definitely distract you! And thank goodness it isnt christmas time at disneyland anymore - it gave me WAY too many decorating ideas and things to copy:)

Surely you can never have enough decorating ideas? Cheesy Disneyland at christmas is the best! I went there at christmas (Paris) and it was snowing, it was amazing.

I also thought I should mention that I'm moving back to the UK from France today so will be away for a few days... 99.99% sure I'll be back before the swap starts but I thought I should say anyway in case anything comes up  Wink

I have finally mustered up the courage to send off my questionnaire Cheesy I've wanted to do a swap for so long but was a bit intimidated by all you lovely craftsters, but I think I'm ready now! (I'll keep telling myself that). I'm looking forward to the start of the swap and looking through the past galleries has been fun! I have lots of ideas already.  Grin

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Pooh Bear PJs (Help me improve this top?) on: April 30, 2010 12:36:12 PM
Thanks for the suggestions! I think I've decided to ruche the top and maybe applique some Poohs to the bottom  Cheesy

these are realli cool, i love the fabric you have used!
did u use a patterb coz i would love to make something similar for myself.
i think the top looks nice plain but you could of added a band of the winnie the pooh fabric around the middle, or you could applique or lace the top.

I used this as a rough guide to making the bottoms: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Sew-Your-Own-Pajama-Pants/ and the top is just an easy tube top with straps attached. Nice and easy  Grin
