51  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Baby bib cross stitch on: June 10, 2008 07:28:41 PM
So yet another baby gift for a friend.  Cross stitched a little something on this bib---little puppy, butterflies, hearts and, of course, yummy!  Bought the bib at Joanns and it came with a pattern but I altered it a little and added the butterflies.  Just cute and easy.  Thanks for looking!

52  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Another onesie--Vespa! on: June 10, 2008 07:21:13 PM
So here's another onesie I've done for another friend of mine.  He's an old friend from high school and he inherited a Vespa from his father which he now drives everywhere. So for he and his wife's new little daughter I thought this would be fun and different.

53  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / A couple of throw pillows (lots of pics) on: June 08, 2008 06:24:44 PM
So I desperately needed some pillows for my couch.  I had taken a beginner sewing class and decided that I would make some then.  I even sewed a zipper and piping.  I learned so much while sewing these.  I'm thrilled with how they turned out.  Thanks for looking!!

54  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / "Baby" onesie on: June 08, 2008 06:02:14 PM
I am making lots of baby things lately for expectant friends.  This one has the rattle which I think is too cute.

55  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Baby washcloths (many pics) on: June 08, 2008 05:58:32 PM
It seems that everyone I know is pregnant!  So I've been working on gifts for them.  Here are some of the washcloths that I've done using mostly Sublime designs.  The terrycloth was a bit difficult to work with but I just worked with it.  So far, one mom has been really excited to receive them.  Thanks so much for looking.

(I love this guy but couldn't get a decent picture of him)
56  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Flower purse on: June 08, 2008 05:50:59 PM
I haven't posted in a while and have a lot of things that I've finished. I'm working on getting them on here!I finally finished a purse that I was working on.  This is the flower design that I embroidered for it.  I got the design somewhere on the internet. It is actually a rubber stamp design.  I am so pleased with how it turned out.  My satin stitch is coming along--that always seems to be the most difficult for me!  Thanks for looking!

(sorry, blurry)

57  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / First purse! on: June 08, 2008 05:38:37 PM
I finally finished my very first purse. I'm very pleased with how it turned out.  It was well worth the work--me being a beginner sewer and all.  The pattern is a See&Sew.  It has embroidery detail that I did as well.  Thanks for looking!!
