1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Team Duckie--Pretty In Pink on: July 31, 2011 09:34:54 AM
I stitched this for a swap--a fellow Pretty In Pink lover.  We would both have chosen Duckie.   He had a much better fashion sense than Blaine--as noted by the rad shoes he wore.

Thanks as always for taking a look.
2  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Tara McPherson pattern on: April 17, 2011 11:05:07 AM
I finally got around to stitching up some the awesome Tara McPherson patterns.  I stitched it on a linen I found at a thrift store with a cute crochet border.

I love the little stars.

Thanks for looking!

The pattern is from the January 2001 issue of Cross Stitcher magazine.

4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Door wreath on: February 05, 2011 09:44:00 AM
I made a cute wreath for my door for Valentine's Day!!  I bought the pink wreath at Target after Christmas for 25 cents.  I was just going to keep it until next Christmas--but since it was pink I thought why not make a Valentine's wreath!  I just made some little layered felt hearts and added some cute foam "love bug" stickers"  Simple but cute!  Thanks as always for taking a look!

And a little detail of the hearts and stickers

I stitched this pattern onto a Sublime totebag for my sister's birthday.  The pattern is from here <a href="http://www.colonialpatterns.com/product_info.php?cPath=88&products_id=1114&osCsid=74f5bd7b3b486f9994311d0cc00c3803" .  I'm really pleased with the colors and how it turned out!

A little close up of the fun designs on the tree..

Thanks for looking!
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Sock Monkey love on: February 04, 2011 06:12:40 PM
I made this for my sister's birthday.  The pattern is from "Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornaments 2010 (Vol 28, Num 6)"--originally meant as a Christmas ornament.  I changed some of the colors and to make it not just for Xmas.  I think it's totally cute...

7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Thanksgivng---a little late on: December 13, 2009 09:19:41 AM
I stitched this on a towel for myself for Thanksgiving.  It's from the great Holiday set from Aunt Martha's.  I thought it as really cute.  Thanks!

8  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Black Apple Boy and Girl on: December 13, 2009 09:17:32 AM
I've been wanting to do these for myself for a while now--finally got around to it.  Debating on whether I want to make them ornaments or put them in little frames.  Hmmm.

Thanks as always for taking a look at my stuff.  You guys are great.
9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Christmas yet?? on: November 09, 2009 04:18:29 PM
I've started my Christmas gifts.  Like last year, folks will mostly be getting handmade things this year.  I've started with these two sweet patterns from Aunt Martha's; Little Angel and Choir Boy.  They will probably be made into ornaments.

I thought she needed to be stitched in cotton candy colored thread.

He's too cute.
Thanks for looking!

I totally love these bizarro Julie West patterns.  Finally got some spare time to try them.  These will probably be made into ornaments also for Christmas.  Thanks!!
