I am learning tablet weaving and have been able to the basics and am now trying to do double faced weaving.
the problem i have is that the weft yarn keeps showing through and i didnt think it should for this type of weaving.
There is a pic of the problem.


can anyone see where or what i have done wrong. Please help Cry

I want to to make a plushie for a long time, but was having trouble coming up with a good design. So i got my boyfriend to draw me some ideas and one really caught my eye. I scaled up the drawing and this is what I made.

I made him using the simple cookie cutter method out of a woven fleece fabric. his eyes and mouth are cut from felt and sewn on.

I love the colours in goblin.

just one for me this week. The pics not very good and the yarn is before the twist has been set. Its hot off the wheel. it a merino single.

a couple of months ago i learnt how to do bead crochet ropes. here are a few of the bracelets i have made.
A simple one made with triangle beads


black and white swirl.


this last one was difficult to get the heart beads to fall around the edge of the bracelet.


they are so much fun to make and a great way to use up my bead stash  Wink

Hand dyed BFL. I got the fibre from Hipknits at the knitting and stitching show in october.
Navajo plied. Don't know the yardage yet as i have more to spin.

ohh I love those carded batts  Grin

I have one small skien today. i had a small piece of a batt I carded for another yarn left over so i core spun it to get more yardage.
