Tygermane asked me to post some pics for her because she's going on vacation in the morning and she's gotta pack and everything still so here we go! Smiley I took the pics inside the night before I sent so the quality isn't GREAT or anything. She said her favorite was the tote bag and necklace!

Here's the totebag.. There's a La Push Cliff Diving Team iron on, paw print pocket, and some pins that say team jacob, wolf pack, and pictures of jacob.

Some little notebooks, ones jacob the others alice.

Polymer clay tree pin.. inspired by Forks..

Twilight book box..

Lined with paw print fabric and batting so it's all cushy..

Overall shot.. I also made a little pawprint drawstring pouch for the necklace and tree pin. I didn't get a good pic of the necklace but it's in the pic below. I think there was a paw print charm, one that says werewolf, one that says i love werewolves, a bead, and a moon charm.

Since I haven't went to Joann's Fabrics yet to get some fleece and stuff to make some hammocks/sleep tubes AND since I'm wanting to see my rats on a hammock now instead of later.. I cut part of the leg off some old fleece pants, cut holes in the corners and slipped in some shower curtain rings. I can tell my ratties are gunna like hammocks!

oh yeah, and it's a good way to use up an EX bf's pants. muhahahaa Angry ....hehe Smiley

Here's a picture of my 2 ratties. Peter or Petey, the adventurous active dare devil in the front. He ALWAYS wants to come out and play. I got a rat friendly comfort wheel for him which was like 16 dollars I think and he ate the part of it that keeps it together so it doesn't work anymore. Sad He would run on that constantly.. now he just has to make due with climbing the cage and walking upside down with all 4's from the CEILING! Roll Eyes He's also the bed maker.. I give him tissues and cardboard and he rips it all up and makes a bed out of it for the 2 of them. Bacchus, the lazy timid one is in the igloo, his favorite place. His pastimes include eating.. ALOT.. and sleeping. He tries to hoard the food in the igloo when I put it in the cage. I've got a little joke about that.. he needs to hoard the food so he can pay petey with it to make a quality bed for him! hahaha Grin

They remind me of the Odd Couple.

Alright, prepare to be jealous! Slyfox sent me such a great package. This is going to be a big post!

Here are the decorated pringles cans. Slyfox decided to send me 2 because everything wouldn't fit into 1 can. One is decoupaged with rose petals from her own rose bush, so cool! The other is decoupaged with text from some old romance novels. <3

Look how cute and detailed this half apron is!! There's iron on cherries, mushrooms, gnomes.. It's even personalized with my name in ladybugs! Grin The pockets are actually one BIG pocket which is very useful.

A skull print knitting needle roll right from my wist.. Cheesy

Which slyfox personalized just for me! It's got iron on tattoo style birds, mermaid, stars, poison bottle..  Cheesy

An altered art puzzle! (the leopard background is just scrapbooking paper I put down) This is soo awesome! It's got gnomes, cherries, rabbit, clover, a little turtle, butterflies, sequins, fairies, and more!

My first inches! I've actually been looking at inchies lately and thinking how I want to gather a bunch from different people to make a big art piece to frame, so this is great. I love the rainbow of colors.

She also thoughtfully sent me extra iron ons of cute birds and gnomes to use in future projects.

5 adorable marble magnets, a fabric flower pin, and paper beads made out of maps which bring luck to travelers, awesome!  Cheesy

EDIT TO ADD: I also got a cute plastic chick with an egg in it that grows in water into a duck, some ocean breeze incense cones in a tube, a foam birdy sticker, and some cute beaded stitch markers.  Wink

Thank you so much slyfox, you're a wonderful partner and I LOVE everything you sent to me. <3

39  Re: Secret Santa 2009 Swap Party Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Minusxl3lindfold on: December 20, 2009 11:00:35 PM
Hi everyone, I haven't been feeling too good at all today.. I feel really sick. My cameras all charged now though so here's what I got from my secret santa!

First, a really nice card with a ram on it (I'm an aries). I also got a wood burned ram plaque which is sooo great (I asked for something wood burned). A penny collectors book already started with a bunch of cool pennies in them, one even has my name on it!!! I see in the picture I didn't open the book up all the way, there's 2 more pages inside. 2 reeses cups yum! She wrapped all my gifts in fabric bags which is such a great idea, I love these. Last but not least the cooooolest bag! It's reversible and both sides have 3 pockets on them. The fabric choices are absolutely perfect for me. Black corduroy which I've always loved the feel of and furry leopard which I love anything furry and anything leopard!!

Thank you sooo much gammykatie, I really love everything. You did a great job!  Cheesy

Here are the pics I said I would post of what I sent SimplyFabulous because hers were a little blurry. Red and white polka dot hen and a little chick stuck in her egg with her legs poking out! I made the legs and feet out of wire. Also the gnome family ornament set.. Pre-ribbon and then after ribbon ready to hang..

40  Halloween tin, Wicked sign, Etc.. in Halloween Decor and Parties by Minusxl3lindfold on: October 27, 2009 07:54:10 PM
This is an altoid tin I altered for my partner in the halloween altoid tin swap round 2. It was my first altered altoid tin so I'm kinda proud. Plus my partner craftypuppymom really liked it.

First I drilled a hole in the side of the tin so I could put a brad in there for decoration/opening.Then I put like 3 different ribbons on the side of the tin top and bottom to hide the silver of the tin. Black lacey ribbon on top and a wide black ribbon on bottom with a black spider web ribbon on top of it. Then cut out my black glittery paper to fit on the top and bottom of the tin. For the top I glued an orange ribbon with witches in the middle and 2 lacey black ribbons on each side of it. Glued that down on the top and the bottom down plain. Orange glitter glue to finish off the edges of the top and bottom. Now to the inside.. cut out the paper to fit, glued it down. Cut the star ribbon to fit, glued it in, which covered the back of the brad. I also put the black lacey ribbon on the side with the witchy spider but then the tin wouldn't close so I had to take it out lol! Learning experience. The witch hat and little star was in the scrapbooking section. Finish off with glitter glue in the seams and it's all done!   On to the pictures..

Opening the tin..

Here's everything I sent.. Tin, Spooky tree of life necklace (which you can see here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=323671.msg3735525#msg3735525), Boo magnet and pumpkin magnet, Stitch markers, Painted wicked sign, Little pumpkin pouch to put everything in.

And a close up of everything in the tin and my extra..

This was a really fun swap.. I might be addicted to altoid tin swaps now!  Grin
