1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Lucy poops rainbows bag (IMG heavy) on: January 04, 2009 10:03:16 AM
Wow, this sounds exactly like what would happen to me! LoL Cheesy I have a sewing machine sitting in the kitchen never used, because I have no clue what to do with it, the manual is tiny and I don't think it'd help much, and I hate hand sewing (not too good at it either). Patience isn't my strong suit, so I still haven't lined my purse that I made from the same pattern, except I used thirteen (I think) squares and a different pattern for the granny squares I couldn't figure it out.

I love the your bag and especially the lip gloss holder! I always lose mine and never have that many (unfortunately) around. Anyways, love the rainbow, Hello Kitties, and the lining! And I'm so glad everything worked out in the end!  Grin

I think your little Siamese looks more like a cat than a Chihuahua, so I think he's purrfect!  Grin

Oh, that's very cute and it looks so well done! Great job. Smiley

I think it's very pretty! I wish I lived where there was a variety of colored shopping bags. All we have are white, grey, and possibly yellow.

While I haven't worked with plarn yet, I know how it feels to have aching hands. I worked with this scratchy silver/black ribbon yarn and when I was done I just wanted to touch soft things for days! lol  Tongue Anyways, I think you did a lovely job and it looks awesome. Smiley
5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Newbies first completed project! on: July 06, 2008 09:29:05 AM
Very cute! Wish I was that good! I've been crocheting since March, but I doubt I could make something so well done. Smiley
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Kitten on: July 06, 2008 09:27:36 AM
Awww, your kitty is absolutely adorable. I know what you mean... I was crocheting on the floor, got up to do something and two minutes later I returned, started back up where I left off and after a few stitches, I felt wet cotton yarn. Ugh! One of my cats had gnawed right through it! Of course she was right where she had been before I had gotten up, just laying there looking innocent. The wretch! LoL

Great job for your fifth project. I haven't quite psyched myself up to try amigurumi yet, but I plan to sometime. Like after I finish crocheting my sock drawer.  Tongue Okay, bad crochet humor!

Call me tacky, but I love it! So cute! Smiley
8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Curling Ribbon+Crochet Hook=Many Purses on: June 29, 2008 01:53:36 AM
I've thought of using curling ribbon before but only have Christmas colors right now. Tongue Thank you so much for sharing, those bags are awesome and I'm happy to see how the ribbon looks crocheted. Smiley

Thanks so much! They aren't my first projects ever, but I thought they'd make a good first post. Smiley

I've been a lurker for a few months now and have been so busy drooling over everyone else's cool projects, that I haven't posted any of mine! So here goes...

These are some things I made for my niece's birthday, which isn't until the end of August, but at least I have them done!
