One more thing.keep in mind when filling out the questionnaire that the more specific you are about what you LIKE and do NOT LIKE, the easier it is to pair you up!   Personally, I like to allow my swap partners the flexibility to craft the things they love to craftwhile keeping in mind my tastes.  Also, please do not ask for items that are completely out of the realm of possibilityyour partner is not going to knit you a sweater in a few weeks, and if you give them no other ideas, its going to be difficult to figure out what to craft you!  Also, I do believe that mentions of anything that can be perceived as controversial (i.e. religion, politics, etc.) should be left out of your questionnaire UNLESS it pertains to what you can/cant receive from someone.  Then, AND ONLY THEN, it should be stated in this way:  Due to religious, political, personal beliefs, I do not want to receive anything that is (fill in the blank).

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

5  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Summer jammies for the little one. on: May 17, 2008 09:26:06 PM
This is my first post in the kids clothes. Yea me!
The sun decided to come out and play and make the temp go from the 50's to the 80's, so my daughter needed some summer jammies all of a sudden. I didn't want to go out and spend a bunch of money, so I dug into my Joann's and Walmart $2/yard fabric. I used less than a half yard on this nightie. Hooray for $1 jammies.
I based the pattern on this peasant top tutorial from Vegbee, just making it a bit longer:
http://indietutes.blogspot.com/2007/07/peasant-blouse.html

It took less than an hour from cutting to finish. I have 3 more cut and ready to sew up tomorrow.

And now for the pics (Finally)!

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My first tote bag! on: May 15, 2008 12:00:46 PM
This is my first attempt at any type of bag. I made a tote bag for my SIL to use for her Sunday School teaching things. It is lined with a blue flower print and has two inner pockets. One is a plain pocket, and the other is a three slotted pen pocket. I decided not to put any pockets on the outside, because they would cover the little angels on the fabric print. It also has boxed corners on the bottom. I am pretty proud of my first try.

Here is the bag:

Here is the angel print on the outside:

Here are the two inner pockets:

Thanks for looking!
9  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Macro Challenge: Standing out in the crowd on: April 28, 2008 06:35:33 PM
This is my first post ever that is not a reply to someone else's work!!

Here is my entry for the macro photo challenge. The only thing I did in photoshop was add the border. I call it "Standing Out In The Crowd". There was one solitary dandelion in a huge field of tulips.
