so i'm really excited because i've been wanting to make luggage for a long time and haven't had the chance to.  so i made some last week and thought i'd share it.  the first is a carry on bag, the second is my rolling luggage (need to add the wheels but i know how they'll go on there!  just need to get the bits from home depot.  and the strap detaches in case i need to check it in on the plane).  what do you think?

...so i just got engaged and need to start planning pronto.  it's not until fall of next year ( i just put a random date on the tester card because we can't book anything til my momma visits with the checkbook ), but my family is helping me plan from all sides of the country so we need to get organized right away.  plus, in january i'll be (hopefully) starting grad school so i won't have nearly the amount of *spare* time i do now.  now to the whole point of my post:

 so i was toying around with some save the date designs and wanted to get opinions.  i literally did this in about twenty minutes because i didn't know what else to do.  i am printing them out and mounting them on coordinating card stock then sending them as postcards.  i want to keep everything simple but i don't want it boring.  i only have photoshop for free for 30 more days so i really need to get crackin!  let me know what you think...

for some reason this week, i went CRAZY and bought a  TON of fabric.  i was obviously in a summmery mood judging my the colors of what i picked out.  i literally have six more cuts of fabric to sew from but i wanted to get opinions of what i have done so far.

UPDATE..i *found* some batteries in my boyfriend's halloween decorations (shhh...) so i was able to get my camera up and running for this one last pic.  i just finished this bag tonight and i LOVE the fabric:

i am soo glad this turned out semi-decent.  the outer fabric is from a tablecloth my mom was throwing out and the rings are from another bag that i haven't used in forever.  and i put in a zipper!  this is my first in a tote so i was happy with it

i'm having too much fun with my new vinyl finds.  i made this wristlet after i stitched all the fun stripes on the vinyl.  i love how it turned out...i used a lime green napkin as the lining after fusing it.  i think it's fun.  what do you think?

so i had this bright red vinyl and had been thinking about making little pouches with stitching on the front so i tried it out.  it's lined with a light yellow calico.  what do you think?
