22  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / kayhook inspired baby granny tank img heavy on: May 09, 2008 05:40:01 AM
i saw this thread http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=244540.0 and i loved how it looked so i wanted to make one for my daughter unfortunately i didnt have any girly yarn so i had to used some light blue and fuzzy yarn it kindda looks girly and not boyish so i'm still happy with how it came out

(fixed the bottom) now before it looked like this http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k121/tomasarereal/crochet/Picture025a.png

in the end loved how it turned out Smiley
23  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / cherry blossom mini pillow on: May 02, 2008 06:10:52 AM
just finished it

inside of it is another pouch to hold the stuffing so none should show but i crocheted that too instead of using fabric i'm very happy with how it came out.  Smiley i think it makes even the ugliest couch (mine lol) pretty!
24  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / pink cherry blossoms purse (img heavy) updated on: March 23, 2008 07:10:02 PM

updated: i added a crocheted liner inside i changed to last photo that showed the strings to now show the new inside. i really like how it looks! the yarn is the same color as the rest of the bag it's just a bad photo lol

it was supost to be a afghan square but i messed up on the 1st row (one too many dc's) so i turned it into a hand bag. the pouch messures  5 1/2 by 8 inches and it think it's really cute the only problem is the inside. i crocheted another bag to go in it but my husband says it makes it look funny he says i should sew a liner in with some cloth but i'm really bad at sewing anyone have any ideas or should i just do what my husband suggest?

sorry the photos are a little blurry
25  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / baby blanket in woven stitch on: March 19, 2008 07:44:27 AM
this is a baby blanket i finished.

i'm "eh" with it i used two different dye lots (opps) of tlc baby's naptime and woven stitch from the crochet stitch bible. i think i made my chain links too big so the bottom is kindda loose and somewhere around the end it got smaller O.o; i dont know how that happened.  oh the plus side even though i'm just "eh" with it both my son and daughter love it my son tried to sleep with it for his nap time and cried his eyes out when i took it from him and my daughter likes touching it (then again shes 6 months she likes touching everything...)
26  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / hi i'm zellabella on: March 15, 2008 01:10:11 PM
i'm ZellaBella and i'm new to the forum and i've been crocheting for about 3 years (though my grandma did teach me when i was little but i forgot). i'm 21 and a mother of two (ages 2 1/2 and 6 months) i've only completed three projects (well four but one fell apart literally) i'm also working on three other projects (a granny square blanket, a baby blanket and another baby blanket) i find it hard to stick to one task and often start new project while working on current ones, mostly because i get sad when i finish them.
27  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / yay my finished my filet mesh! on: March 15, 2008 01:04:53 PM
woot! i finally finished it!

the pattern is jonquil and the site is http://www.angelfire.com/folk/celtwich/jonquil.html

i finished it so much faster after i printed out the pattern so i could work on it away from the computer. i added a border to make it a bit bigger i plan to use it as a light baby blanket since i grabbed whatever yarn that was around which happened to be tlc baby's baby print yarn
