ok i tryed my hand at this pattern http://mimoknits.typepad.com/knitting/2008/04/grocery-bag-pur.html (or this pattern if your a ravelry member  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/japanese-blossom-handbag )  and well i read both the bottom of the bag wrong... and the top of the bag i just gave up on but it did produce this!



a women from group liked it so much she asked if i could make her one for her daughter i got the bottom right from the pattern so this time the bag is larger then mine but the top i kept with my changes

does it look like kitty ears? maybe i should of done them black and pink inside? anyway i love the way they came out just like the pink bear headband i made

well since i've been making hats for my daughter i thought it's only fair i make something for my son so i decided a scoodie. i used blizzard yarn and an N hook it only took a few hours to make since it's for a toddler






and me in it mwhahaha i really want one for myself but this yarn was expensive if you ask me (66 yards for 9 dollars and i used two of a toddler) very soft and warm though.

the yarn is yanna choice in dusty rose and pink i think. i based it off this pattern http://www.rheatheylia.com/index.php?page=patterns&id=5 but i changed how you do the cable so mine looks more braided.

my 2nd attempt at this hat and it does fit better but is still tight enough that she cant knock it off (she's great at doing that to hats) i decided to make matching mittens cause i loved the pattern so much! i think they look cute together!

oh and sorry for the mess in the photos my sons been home from preschool for 4 days and i've been sick

the 1st one i made was too small the 2nd one just barely fits so i am working on a third one in pink for my daughter shes 14 months i really like how these two came out though. i am not sure of the yarn i think it's "premier" or something like that i got it for a dollar at ocean state job lot. it's very soft.

i saw rheatheyia's hat and Solitaire so i really wanted to make one also

i like how it looks and can hold so many of my hooks now maybe a certain toddler wont get them and i wont have too keep buying more and more!

now that i made this one i may make another this one was more like a practice one but i am VERY proud of how it came out
