All I can say is this is FANTASTIC! You are very skilled. Keep up the great work!! Make sure you post costume pictures afterwards! I was trying to imagine you're costume, and I doubt I got it right.

Thanks you guys!

And I actually inherited this from my grandmother who is an artist herself (She actually painted an entire mural on one side of a bar/restaurant wall)

I'm not sure if it belongs in this section, but here we go!

I turned this:

To this:

I sanded it, wiped it down, painted it, repainted it, drew out the pattern, painted that on, and painted some more. Then sealed it. Smiley What do you think? C&C welcomed!

Here are some more of them and a shot of the back, sorry it's such a cruddy quality picture! I don't have a camera besides my phone!

The backs are still open, i haven't figured it out that far yet! And like i've said before they are SUPER light. So maybe if i covered the back with foil/fabric and attached the ribbon it would make it hang nicely. I've made about six of them so far. The longest part is cutting the little 'leaves' off the pine cone. *I never knew pine cones were so sharp!*

Ohhh i haven't thought about that. That would be cute! And it's not that heavy at all! I had cut all the little "leaves" off of the pinecone, then glued them together in the shape of the flower. So its just the 'leaves' and glue. Smiley
