Hi, it is my sisters birthday tomorrow, and she is the hardest person to buy/make for. So, I decided to make her a picture and frame it of her top 3 musicians. But the picture looks boring to me, should I add more? And if so what???

Maybe I will just buy her a coffee

I made this for my DS, for his 3rd birthday, using a vanilla cake mix, and some marzipan icing. He absolutley loved it, but ended up in hospital, as after eating it, we found out he is allergic to green colouring! Poor sod, he was ok, but it was quite scary! So,now all birthday cakes must be mario, no luigi or yoshi haha!

I love everything DanniQuee sent to me, and I cant believe most of it was 'First Tries'! Way to go girl! Oh and mine also got quarintined (sp) LOL

YOSHI! - Danni made the pattern and everything for this, and it was her first go at making a 3d plushie! SHe did a fab job ( here is my daughter inspecting!)


CUPCAKE PINCUSHION - I *love* this, it was on my wist, and it is super cute (and practical!)

NEEDLE BOOK - This is fab, the pages were even full of needles, etc. Notice the cute skull on the front

JOURNAL - Made from photos from Ashbury Park, NJ. DanniQuee included a bit of history about the place which is so fascinating, considering I havent even travelled out of my own state, let alone the country! And this book is now my swap journal!

MARIO BEADED BRACELET - How cute is this! And it fits so well! My fav is the goomba, while my 3 year olds fav is the star...

I also got this Homer stress ball - which my 3 year old tried to take for a nap (but didnt succeed) and a pack of M&Ms, which I am gonna eat on my own tonight!

Thanks so much Danni, I also got totally spoilt, I love everything and it has been such a pleasure! I have never had anyone make anything for me (besides my kids school pictures) and all of this is so special to me!

Hi, I finished her yesterday, and finished her outfit today. Her name,Akia, means First Born. This was my first time ever using a sewing machine, following a pattern and making patterns on my own (for her clothes and shoes). She isn't perfect, but I really like her!

I couldnt take great pictures today due to rain and miserable weather, but anyway, here she is.

PS - Any comments and constructive critisim appreciated

WANTED TO ADD: I couldnt get any pipe cleaners, so her tail is also made from the wool I used for her hair. And I brought the wool like that, I am going to go back and get different colours to I think

Hi, I am a new member here, been browsing for awhile. I seen a post on Baby Legs, and thought I would try making some. The only thing I have ever sewn before is putting a button back on my sons shirt lol!  I handsewed these and it took me about half an hour.
