I made two lovely tea wallets from this tutorial, http://blog.christyscreations.com/?p=482 one of which I gave as a gift, and the one below, which I kept:





I also had one failed attempt. It went wrong because I used the denim both inside and out, plus interfacing. This made it too bulky so it was a mess when I turned it right way round, but I learnt a lot from those few scraps of material.

All in all the tutorial is super easy to follow and I am really grateful to Christy for posting it!

This is the first crochet project of any significance I have ever done .

I made him for my botfriend because we watched Nosferatu at a festival we went to last year. The only ammendment I made is to add the two tiny drops of blood from the right fang!

The buttons were made from polymer clay as the book advises, glued on with PVA, and are so effective, I will not make eyes from anything else now!

I put this together over the course of a week of evenings, from an oddment of denim I bought for £2. I based it on a jeans skirt I already had, but didn't think I could cope with a real fly fastening yet so this has a mock fly and actually fastens with a zip at the side.

I really wish I had put some darts at the back, as you can see the waist band gapes a little, but as I'm only to wear it with a top which comes down belowthe top.

Any other suggestions?  It's kinda twisted by design but then so am I!

Been lurking on here for weeks and finally decided to get your opinion on one of my creations. I am Piscean and love anything marine themed so wanted to design a necklace fit for a mermaid! The beads are either pearls or marine coloured, woven around a crocheted sterling silver wire.

Be brutal please - I really wanna learn!
