2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Hello ....plus new peices on: March 14, 2008 10:50:45 PM
So in my last post I really didnt have a chance to introduce myself.  My name is Jimmie, and I currently live in Nashville but originally hail from Boston.  Ive been painting for about ten years or so but only recently have had the time to take my art seriously( most people close to me have said they have noticed a marked improvement just in the last year.)  I served for 4 years in the Navy and draw on alot of those experiences for my work.  Alot of my "landscapes"  (yes in quotations) are kinda my mental views of my personal inner happy place.

My sister actually suggested this site since she posts in the crochet section.  So hopefully having my work in here can help expose it a little and maybe help in the criticism as well.  Its so hard to get constructive advice when the people who judge are either biased or have nothing else to compare to.

So anyway, now that Ive rambled these two I just finished in the last week.  Please give feed back...please please please!!

The camera flash was really bright and this was the best of 11 shots.....

Again with the flash.

As i finish more or I find more that I deem worthy for the public discriminating eye ill put em here

-Jimmie
