Ok, soooo, I need some help with the plug (his) part of this. I have the hers bit planned, but it's just the his part. Any help, I have no idea how to replicate it to where he can sit down and everything. Not to mention a low-price.
Ok, so, in need a some saucy, but not slutty, patterns i.e. dresses, tops, skirts. I like wearing dresses and skirts, but have to wear jeans during the week, so I just want some patterns that are extra saucy for the weekends when I can wear them, and when my boyfriend and I are hanging out. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
So, I start my Junior year of high school in like 5 days, and I'm going back with a boyfriend, but also an ex who kinda crushed me. New boyfriend's great, we were friends about a year before deciding to date like a week ago, but I don't know what to wear my first day back. I want something that kinda does the whole "eat your heart out" thing to ex-boyfriend, but nothing too over the top.
I made a dress using Simplicity 2724 out of a dark fuchsia and black plaid flannel, but it's a little retro, and for some reason makes my calves look like turkey legs. I'm obviously down to the wire, so whatever help would be great.
The dress I have has the 3/4 sleeves, no ruffles, pleated skirt, and pointed collar. Any other info can be given...
So, I made these up to elaborate on an idea that I've have for quite sometime, because I'm homeschooling, and really bored. I'm really proud of this little guy, and I think I'll be proud of the other ones too, once their built.
So the inspiration behind this was I was thinking of what would be a really cool wedding dress someday, and I thought that if you weaved ribbon, I would look really good in panels on a corset because of the structure of both of the.
Anyway, so here they are!
These ones aren't built yet, but I'm thinking of putting a busk in the pink one... I really like the red weave too!
Well, winter formal in on the 18th of January, and I wanted to make my own dress. I fell in love with this [url]http://www.voguepatterns.com/item/V8447.htm??tab=evening_bridal_includes_designer&page=2/url] but was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on the color scheme. I was thinking something like a broadcloth for the fabric type, but I could be wrong there too... Any help much appreciated.
HELP!! I'm making a shirt dress for my first day of school and I'm on to the collar now. I applies interfacing to one collar piece and neckband piece and put the collar together, but now I'm on to the neckband. Is the piece with the interfacing the neckband or neckband facing??? Advice greatly appreciated!
So... This is my first post in the "Clothing: I actually made something and don't have a zillion questions" category. It's a supposed to be loose and summery, but it kinda turned out baggy. But I reallly like the back. It's a modified pattern from the BurdaStyle website, the Jane jammies. I've used the pattern before, but aways by the rules. This is the first successful modification that went exactly according to plan.
I have a problem. I made a dress that is too tight in the butt, and so I wanted to turned the pencil skirt like bottom into an a-line. Well, I tried ripping out the side seams upto the hip, basting in a gusset, and it came out pooching on the sides! Has anyone ever tried this before and or do you guys have some tips??
