here are my armwarmers just finished a few days ago. i used kuryeon #88 like the ones in the book. i fiddled with the two skeins to get them to semi-match. the leftovers are going to be a hat.  i pretty much followed the instructions in the book. the only annoying thing was having to go out and make a reverse copy of the chart for the left mitt. other than that it was easy peasy and i like them a lot.

well i just finished the basic cable hat.  used less than 1 skein of lamb's pride worsted in limeade. because of the shortness discussion,  i added 3 rows of ribbing before starting the cable and added a cable repeat before starting my decreases.  my head is not that big and it turned out to be the perfect length. i would suggest that most people add a cable repeat or two, especially if their head is on the bigger size.  no pom pom for me.

but great pattern and super easy to follow. i love how it came out.  i will probably make this hat again in the future.
