So I'm all about saving money, especially when it comes to artwork. Recently while at an antique mall I fell in love with the stacks of vintage magazine ads and covers. I picked up these two ads. that I thought would be perfect as his and hers bedroom wall art for around $5 each. The frames were bought at a thrift store for $3 each. I was lucky enough to find a matching pair, and painted them with some leftover spray paint.
The ads. were slightly under 11x14 so I placed some matching scrapbook paper behind it.
Go check out your local antique store! My local Brass Armadillo Antique Mall has rows and rows of old magazine ads and covers sorted by topic. I also picked up a few others, an old PBR beer ad for over the bar and some food ads for the kitchen.
