I'm slowly getting the hang of coptic binding now...Here are a few notebooks that I just created this week! Your opinions on them would be greatly appreciated!!

I posted some pictures of the mini accordion folder that I made...I made it with a ribbon closure originally, but I don't think that would be practical if you needed to open the box often. I tried some velcro closures, but they are ripping off the paper! I don't know how to fix this now...Please see the pictures below and let me know if you have any other suggestions.

I absolutely LOVED the mini-accordion box that Papermuse created, so I tried it last night. I finished at 2am just because I was having so much fun putting it together and I just couldn't go to bed until it was all done!!

It came out pretty good, although there a few things that didn't come out perfectly...I have a few tiny rips in the paper because I didn't give enough room for the folds...but it's okay...turned out cute anyway!

I think this would make a pretty cute CD holder!

Hi all,

I wanted to try to make a journal out of some old 'Little Golden Book' story books that I had...I saw this idea on Etsy and loved it! So now you can write your notes and still read your favorite story from when you were a kid whenever you want! 

There are a few things that didn't come out the way I wanted, but I suppose practice makes perfect!!

I'm new here...I am really enjoying this website, you all are quite talented! I am amazed at the creativity on this board!

I just started binding my own journals last week...mostly because my friend is hosting a craft fair for charity and I wanted to take part...so I just looked up some craft ideas on the Internet and fell upon some coptic binding tutorials - now I'm hooked! I've made about 12 so far...but I'll only post my favorites..

Please let me know what you think! Since you all have more experience than I do, I'm hoping you can give me some advice on what to do to make my journals even better! The craft fair is on April 13th so I've been trying to make 2 a day, but with a baby at home...it's quite the challenge!!
