I've been using three coats of clear nail polish...the inexpensive, $1/bottle type.  Some of mine have been in use for almost 20 years, so it works well.  Good luck.

That's so smart! How did you stick the paper to the beads? Did you use mod podge?

Thank you. Smiley Unfortunately, I only had a glue stick on hand and, as Tim Gunn says, I "made it work".

Would anyone have suggestions on how to finish them?
