54  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Homemade bagels on: May 27, 2013 07:56:03 AM
oh yum!   brings back happy memories for me Smiley  I remember when I was single, working for myself and had a tiny apartment with a little kitchen,I loved bagels but I was pretty cheap (well...moneyless Grin) so paying 6 bucks for a bag of them with all the preservatives went against my nature so I would make them. They're sooooo much better than store bought!!! and fun to make!

These look so yummy!!!  Inspires me to make them again.

angielou1...I'm sure it's just great! Can't wait to see what everyone has done.

Just ran around all crazy-like looking for a box for Sunflowers poppet, but then I remembered that I saved the box that Lani sent my poppet in last year! It's kinda like the box that I sent to puamelia a few years ago, which she sent back to me, which I then sent to someone else (amigurl, I believe)- Sisterhood of the Traveling Poppet Boxes! Wink
I love it when things like that happen!

YAY for being green!!!!

I have recently discovered that soda boxes are the BEST for shipping poppets...they fit like a glove!!!  I don't drink soda, but my mom buys 12-packs constantly, so I have to make a trip to her house to pack up puamelia's poppet Grin
Lanikins...dun dun dun....I now!.... have a box.   Well, I did have a box but he/she/it was super squished. My son had a tummy ache the other day and we purchased pop! Renew reuse recycle!!!

All finished!  I'll be mailing first thing tomorrow morning since I want to make sure everything is dry before I pack he/she/it up and send he/she/it off.  Smiley Grin
58  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Musical egg heads on: May 18, 2013 08:57:54 AM
What a wonderful idea!  these would make really fun gifts for the musicians in our lives.  I'm not musical but it would be a hoot to have a bunch of these on a shelf. Such a great upcycle idea for all those plastic eggs hanging around.
