Hi all !
I normally post on the Needlework , but I want to learn to make my toddler girl some cute handmade clothes. I am new to sewing so please bare with me ... 

Okay... my dd loves to pretend that she is a ballerina. I made her a tutu..the ones that you tie , but I am not happy with it. In fact I feel a little emotional when I see her so happy with her raggedy tutu...OH well... I'm a tiny bit perfectionist...

Can someone Please !!! Help me on how to sew a tutu !!!! I dream with making her a tutu like the one Zoey from Sesame Street wears... it sooo cute... with that waist band .

Any help will be greatly appreciate it !!!

Just sharing one of my latest finished projects...
This tote bag I got from Michael's for a little over a $1.00. I embellished it with an embroidered band of fabric. The design is a vintage pattern from which I got a re-printed copy from www.patternbee.com

This bag is for my little girl... she is already a girly girl carrying a very small hobo bag up and down the house and when going out as well...lol so cute...!!!

Here is the final product...ufff.. since this is my 1st ever CQ project it took me about 3 weeks... of course I didn't work on it every day. 
What do you think of it ? Any constructive criticism is more than welcome !

Ok... I need some suggestions and/or ideas on where to use this wonderful strawberry...  it is a tutorial that a group member posted and I am in love with this embroidered strawberry.. isn't it cute ? Since we are in Spring I think it would be lovely to embroider some but where Tea towel Canvas Bag

I've embroidered other things but this is my 1st embroidered tea towel. I use a pattern from the Sublime Stitching book, just change it a bit.

I'm also learning sewing, crocheting as well ... oh and a little bit of quilting (I guess that goes with the sewing..) but my passion is for hand embroidery !!!
Something as simple as getting some supplies for hand embroidery and I feel a joy and satisfaction I can't describe. Weird .. Probably not... Do you feel the same ?
