craftADDchick ... Thanks! I did white on white for the first two Stitching Clubs, so went ahead with it again for this Spring one and most likely will for the Autumn one. Looking forward to seeing what you end up choosing for your centers!

alwaysinmyroom ... Thanks for adding the picture!!!  Grin

lindyv321 ... it's true, life does get in the way... (Life and health -in my case-, I'm in the same boat!) However those everyday life things end up being the most important things Wink so it's all good!

To Everyone ... looking forward to your progress updates! C'mon girls bring it on Wink ! Cheesy

craftAddchick ... adding my two cents, please verify that the colored cardstock won't bleed color/ink if wet. Just in case you like to enjoy sipping on a treat while you stitch (moisture drops from a frozen/cold drink, a little water spill, etc...)

To All ... Have fun with your SSC! I'll try to post an update in a couple of days.

Averia ... You are on a roll  Cheesy , how great! Can't wait to see your hexie flowers!!!

alwaysinmyroom ... I've read that for linen that'll be used for embroidery, it is best to towel dry (rolling it within a bath towel) to remove excess water, then let it air dry a bit and finally finish drying it while ironing it. I think linen gives the flower centers a beautiful look. In the future I'll like to try it but for now I'm using quilting cotton fabric.

craftADDchick ... When I cut mine I did use cardstock. I've seen others do it with just regular printer paper especially if they are basting through the paper. I've basted the way Mollie suggests on the instructions and since I tend to have a tight tension when stitching card stock works for me.

lindyv321 ... By basting the way Mollie suggest you don't have to worry about removing it. The papers pop out relatively easy even if you caught them while stitching hexies together. Now, papers stay inside until you have pieced other hexies around it.

ArtsofCraftiness ... Thanks! Mollie's choice of fabrics are pretty, especially the flowery one! Looking forward to your hexie flowers, but mommy duty 1st  Cheesy Wink , can totally relate.

alwaysinmyroom , great! Wink You'll do just fine!
In my case I'm very comfortable with free-style / traditional hand embroidery but very new when it comes to quilting. Really hoping to be able to make decent looking quilts for my little ones.

alwaysinmyroom , thanks! Looking forward to taking a peek at your choice of fabrics/jellyroll.

lindyv321 , I'm in!

To everyone ... If not working yet with prepping fabrics and/or stitching... Are you getting your paper hexagons pieces ready? Or are you getting precut ones?
I did cut mine for the ones I used on Summer and Winter, this time around I got precut ones.
Also.... Will you be thread basting or glue basting your hexies? I might give glue basting a try this time around.

**I did not stick with the Summer and Winter Clubs as suggested (mini quilt/table mat) since I wanted to combine them on one quilt**

Here a peek at my Summer Stitching Club:

Here is a peek at my Winter Stitching Club which is still in progress (please ignore Mrs. Laundry Hen Wink ):

As you can see, I used same fabrics for both since they'll become one quilt. I'm really enjoying this Seasonal Stitching Clubs by Wild Olive / Mollie Johanson!

Ludi, lindyv321 and gaudiknight, thanks! ;-)
The progress shown in pictures was made 2 weeks ago :-/, so I need to get going soon.
My schedule is tight but I don't want to fall too behind (that happened with the Autumn one and I wasn't able to stitchalong).

I'm planning (more like hoping to make) a quilt with a combination of Summer-Winter for my oldest child and another quilt combining Fall and Spring for my youngest.
