12  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Slice and Dice on: October 31, 2011 07:14:24 AM
I love this one.  The rippled quilting is perfect with the cool watery batiks.
13  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Season Sampler-Lots of Pictures on: October 17, 2011 08:12:51 AM
Beautiful work, Pam!  Your stitching is always SO perfect.  I do not think I could get my lines as straight using a pen and paper, let alone needle and thread.
side note: that Japanese thread looks delicious!
14  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Christmas Elephants on: October 15, 2011 03:40:03 PM
Thanks!

Hey rackycoo!  I love the Halloween elephants, and now the Christmas elephants, but what about your friends who celebrate Hanukkah???  Grin  (jk)

I'd totally be open to doing a Hanukkah elephant if I had any clue what that would look like.  Cheesy I'd have to do some research!

Awesome! I cracked up when I read that post. That buyer thinks rather highly of their "art" considering all they do is print out various images onto vintage book pages.  I think it would be fantastic if you donated it to April's Army.  It would be snatched up quickly for sure!
16  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Dothraki Jewel on: September 10, 2011 05:04:57 PM
I know I "ewwwed" at you when you mentioned using a game hen bone, but this turned out so fab that I want one myself (you hear that Auntie? eat more Cornish game hens asap!)  Love that blue raku bead!

I bow to you, my beautiful talented friend.  She is so perfect.  I love the wrinkles in her baby skin, and her sweet red hair.  The egg turned out fab!
