The lace idea is good idea,  but there are already an extra layer on the dress  Undecided.
The sequins idea intrigued me, in the pic you can't really see it but where the fabric is gathered at the bodice, there is strip of fabric that goes down. I was think about putting sequins on that part and then some on the "train".
What do you guys think?
What is a good way of going about making the bodice part form-fitting, because the top part is too big for me...

Hi! My prom is next month and my mom got me a dress for $10! It's okay, but its too plain. I almost told her to return it, but it really isn't that bad plus i don't want to spend a whole bunch of money on a dress that i'll wear only once.  Any suggestions/ideas?
