1  Re: Verb Swap 2 Gallery! (Send by August 17) in The Swap Gallery by arumfield on: August 23, 2011 07:04:45 PM
So my partner, Jexxican, is AWESOME! She crafted me all kinds of great stuff.  My Verb was Travel

Here is the group shot.  Smiley  There is also a shoe cookie cutter and a travel sewing kit (that will come in VERY handy)

My scrappy Nook Color Cover!!  If you look closely you will see a plane stitched into the green square at the bottom!

Here is it in action.  She also stitched my last name on the bottom panel.  You can tell she put a lot of time, effort and love into this one!

Jex did a little digging on my Pinterest page and found an awesome Tutorial for a makeup bag that I have been eyeing!  Guess who got one?  ME!

It's lined with oilcloth!!!!

The note with this next one said "The boots were made for walking".  I think it will be hung up with the stockings this year.  Smiley

I can't believe my luck in getting such a great partner!  Jex - we should craft for each other again because you did a great job....I knew you would - us redheads are AWESOME like that!

3  Painted Christmas Plates in Winter Holidays by arumfield on: December 12, 2008 07:22:13 PM
I bought these plates at the Farberware store that was going out of business close to my house.  They were about 2.50 a piece.  I painted them with Delta PermEnamel paint that just air dries....you don't have to bake it on. Ummmm, I'm not sure its all that good to use these plates of a daily basis BUT for a 1-2 X a year with cookies and stuff on it I don't think it will hurt a thing.

Here is my apron that I made for my husband's little sister.  The dishtowel I found at a local Tuesday Morning, 2 for $5. Also it already had the embroidery and rick-rack.  WHAT A FIND!

Ok so I've been looking around on here for about a month and have really enjoyed looking/reading everyones posts  of there projects. Finally last night I came across the CD recon....I thought it might be a good place to start.  IT WASN'T AS EASY AS I LOOKED!  LOL  Here's pics of the two necklaces I finished about 5min ago. I worked on this for about 3 hrs but I love how they came out.  Smiley
