1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Hoodie for Archie on: October 31, 2014 09:16:41 AM
It's getting cold in Chicago, so Archie's getting an entire wardrobe of sweaters.  This hoodie is so cute and can also be his Halloween outfit tonight because he looks a bit like a gnome with the hood.

2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / BLT Tea Towel on: October 07, 2014 11:04:43 AM
Celebrating one of my favorite sandwiches, the BLT, with this tea towel.  The designs within the letters are meant to remind one of the ingredient.
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Candy Corn - knitted to celebrate the fall holidays on: October 07, 2014 10:57:01 AM
They are very close in size to actual candy corns
4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Ollie the Octopus with his favorite food, jelly beans on: October 07, 2014 10:46:00 AM
crocheted with fingering weight wool from KnitPicks.
5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Honeymoon salad tea towel on: September 30, 2014 05:29:34 PM
I've been interpreting old diner slang into tea towel designs lately and laugh every time I think of Honeymoon salad being just lettuce.
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Halloween Garland with Ghosts, Witch Hats and Brooms on: September 30, 2014 05:25:31 PM
Love how this turned out - perfect for a cute Halloween!  It took a while to figure out how I was going to make the broom just using yarn - I-cord and pom pons to the rescue!
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Little Pumpkins Crochet Garland on: September 30, 2014 05:21:01 PM
Love that this can be on display for a couple months celebrating Fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving.
8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Maple Leaf Crochet Garland on: September 30, 2014 05:16:18 PM
So quick to crochet and just in time for the falling leaves outside.  Fingering weight wool is my favorite for garlands

9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Rose tote bag on: August 26, 2008 03:42:40 PM
Here's a WIP totebag with a rose on the front and an edge pattern around the top.  Originally, it was just going to have the rose, but I ended up putting the pattern around the top.  I'm so glad I made that decision -- looks much more "finished" this way.

10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Pair of underwater themed pillowcases on: August 26, 2008 03:23:41 PM
I made these two pillowcases in the completely random swap for someone who loved both Finding Nemo and the Yellow Submarine.  I wanted them to match, so the swirling fronds are the same design.  They were a lot of fun to create!
