1  Homage to Andy Warhol's Flower Series in Crochet: Completed Projects by sonjabegonia on: May 05, 2015 01:10:46 PM
Andy Warhol's one of my favorite artists, so I knew I had to do something with his Warhol Absolut limited edition bottle.  I think the crocheted tulips do the trick quite nicely.  The stems are single crochet over wire and I also added a bit of wire to some of the tulip petals to make arranging easier.

2  Flower Fairy in Knitting: Completed Projects by sonjabegonia on: May 05, 2015 01:05:24 PM
I loved knitting this magical flower fairy.  Lots of short rows and beading went into her clothes and wings.  The wig was the first time I'd made one and it took an entire skein of yarn for her flowing locks.  Although she wants to fly around outside, her permanent home is on a bookshelf.

3  Hoodie for Archie in Knitting: Completed Projects by sonjabegonia on: October 31, 2014 09:16:41 AM
It's getting cold in Chicago, so Archie's getting an entire wardrobe of sweaters.  This hoodie is so cute and can also be his Halloween outfit tonight because he looks a bit like a gnome with the hood.

Celebrating one of my favorite sandwiches, the BLT, with this tea towel.  The designs within the letters are meant to remind one of the ingredient.

7  Honeymoon salad tea towel in Needlework: Completed Projects by sonjabegonia on: September 30, 2014 05:29:34 PM
I've been interpreting old diner slang into tea towel designs lately and laugh every time I think of Honeymoon salad being just lettuce.

8  Halloween Garland with Ghosts, Witch Hats and Brooms in Knitting: Completed Projects by sonjabegonia on: September 30, 2014 05:25:31 PM
Love how this turned out - perfect for a cute Halloween!  It took a while to figure out how I was going to make the broom just using yarn - I-cord and pom pons to the rescue!

10  Maple Leaf Crochet Garland in Crochet: Completed Projects by sonjabegonia on: September 30, 2014 05:16:18 PM
So quick to crochet and just in time for the falling leaves outside.  Fingering weight wool is my favorite for garlands
