2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / colourful bird... on: April 26, 2014 08:47:02 AM
Hello everybody,

after having sewn for a while I wanted to try something new and decided to go for embroidery. This is my first project... a colourful little bird.
I still do not really know what to use it for, but I had fun embroidering it.

There are some more pictures here and a lot of pictures and a video of the process here.

I wish you all a nice weekend!

Thank you all! I'm glad you like my coat Smiley

PeachieClean: You're right... I also prefer the photos with my hair down. But I also wanted to show the details (the collar for example) Smiley

Legal_Beagle: I did the pattern myself and it wasn't alway fun Cheesy but I'm glad I finished it.

hey,
i sewed a few new things....

1. a little sailor dress out of dark blue jersey and white cotton satin. the collar is decorated with ruffled jersey and metal buttons. satin ribbon for the "real" sailor look Smiley and a bow at the back.

2. a simpler version of the first dress. black jersey and flagging beige fabric of course with a bow at the back.

3. a mens shirt: blue jersey and an application of a robot in love Cheesy his eyes are made of sequins.

hope you like it

especially because at the beginning i was't really sure about the colour combinaison  Grin
